Our rapidly growing organization is looking for an HR Generalist who will work cross-functionally with all departments to implement processes to assist in the scalability of the business. In this role, you will be a key driver of analyzing existing HR processes to improve overall efficiency and execution. Our ideal candidate has experience with HR procedures and can juggle various administrative tasks in a timely manner. This position will report to the Director of HR.

Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate employee onboarding
  • Promote HR programs to create an efficient and progressive workplace
  • Provide support and resolution to employees on various HR-related topics
  • Assist with the talent acquisition and recruitment processes
  • Collaborate with the HR team to develop training
  • Assist in the management and administration of company benefit programs
  • Contribute to the development of personnel policies and procedures and maintain employee handbook
  • Maintain knowledge of HR policies and procedures, as well as state and federal labor laws
  • Undertake tasks around performance management
  • Assist with management of quarterly and annual employee performance reviews
  • Maintain employee files and records in electronic form
  • Implementing new perks and benefits and organizing team building activities
  • Assist with payroll processing

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as a Human Resource Generalist or a similar HR-related position
  • Previous work experience in a startup environment; must be a self-starter and self-driven
  • Understanding of general human resources policies, procedures, and compliance
  • Able to exercise effective judgment, sensitivity, creativity to changing needs and situations
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and people skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Track record of delivering results in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with Office & G Suite
  • SHRM CP/PHR or SCP/SPHR certification is desirable
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
