Riot Games was established in 2006 by entrepreneurial gamers who believe that player-focused game development can result in great games. In 2009, Riot released its debut title League of Legends to critical and player acclaim. As the most played PC game in the world, over 100 million play every month. Players form the foundation of our community and it’s for them that we continue to evolve and improve the League of Legends experience.

We’re looking for humble but ambitious, razor-sharp professionals who can teach us a thing or two. We promise to return the favor. Like us, you take play seriously; you’re passionate about games. We embrace those who see things differently, aren’t afraid to experiment, and who have a healthy disregard for constraints.

That's where you come in.

As HRIS Analyst you'll be a subject matter expert for our internal Talent (HR) software systems with a focus in Benefits, Compensation or Performance System Administration, helping to make the most of them for the other members of the Talent team and Rioters at large. You'll leverage your 3-7 years of relevant HRIS experience, commitment to data integrity, and experience in training those around you to make you a force for good in spearheading best practices. Through your analytical sophistication, strong communication skills, and dedication to your customers, you will show the value robust data and systems can bring to how we work. You'll also be an integral part in helping to identify, select, and implement new Talent systems.

You are:

  • An HR pro: you have 3-7 years of relevant HRIS experience, a commitment to data integrity, and experience in training those around you to make you a force for good in spearheading best practices
  • A problem solver: when problems appear, you're the on-call fixer, applying your methodical approach to clean up even the stickiest of situations; you look past the obvious solution, checking in with all sources to uncover any hidden issues lying dormant
  • Priority-focused: you quickly identify critical projects, separating essential tasks from dreaded time-sucks; you can spot and avoid roadblocks miles ahead, which keeps you on track and more focused than a very determined laser beam
  • An analyst assassin: numbers are your weapon of choice, and you count statistics, probability, and algebra among your favorite tools of the trade
  • A critical thinker: you have the ability to understand the logical connections between ideas, improve creative ideas, and think outside of the box
  • Technically savvy: you're an Excel Wizard: pivot tables and formulas can be executed with one hand tied behind your back; SQL queries can be done in your sleep; you've managed or directly contributed to 2 or more HRIS implementations, and you have a clear understanding of database structures and data integrity

You will:

  • Primarily own responsibility for configuration, maintenance, security, integration, testing, collection of confidential employee data and ongoing administration of one or more Talent Systems
  • Provide day-to-day administration of various global and local HR systems
  • Assist in creating detailed system integration specifications, field mapping, and system process design and documentation; help build integrations as needed; monitor and troubleshoot issues to provide solutions
  • Manage system security, user access and permissions, system reporting, and other routine elements of the HR systems
  • Develop, maintain, produce, and analyze complex reports to meet internal and external reporting requirements, including analytics to provide HR information to the business
  • Identify, suggest, and help implement best practices and process improvements
  • Research new techniques in the development of systems and maintain knowledge of current trends and strategies in technology fields relating to HRIS

Don’t forget to include a resume and cover letter. We receive a lot of applications, but we’ll notice a fun, well-written intro that shows us you take play seriously.
