AirMap is looking for a driven HR Recruiter & Generalist to join our team in Santa Monica. This role is designed to own the recruiting process for many roles across disciplines and locations as well as support the Director of HR as a Generalist. You will partner with hiring managers across the business to understand their hiring needs and shepherd the outreach and hiring process. In this role, you will build relationships with candidates and showcase AirMap’s team, benefits, and culture as you turn help those candidates into potential employees. You will also become the face of AirMap at job fairs and hiring events and an internal resource for existing employees.

Responsibilities:
 

• Partner with hiring managers to deeply understand the requirements for all hires, formulate best outreach strategies, and execute on process.
• Partner with the Director of Human Resources on all things HR-related including talent acquisition, onboarding, off-boarding, payroll, benefits, HRIS, and other projects and tasks.
• Analyze recruiting data to drive a smarter, friendlier and more efficient hiring process while implementing creative sourcing strategies for passive candidates.
• Source, engage, and manage candidates through full cycle recruitment process across all of our teams and manage in our ATS.
• Identify and attract quality candidates to build a pipeline of qualified candidates.
• Work with current team members to leverage internal networks and referrals.
• Screen resumes, coordinate and track the interview process, participate in candidate interviews. 
• Attend job fairs and industry hiring events on behalf of AirMap to meet and attract prospective candidates.
• Effectively communicate employment information during interviews, onboarding, offboarding and throughout employment.

Qualifications:
 

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 2-4 years of full-cycle recruiting experience preferably in engineering, product, and sales.
• 1+ years as a HR coordinator/generalist preferred.
• Ability to solve problems creatively using the resources available to you.
• Comfortable in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Experience hiring in a tech startup is a huge plus.
• Experience hiring for Product and Engineering roles and understand the 
• Engaging phone presence and the ability to sell candidates on AirMap’s mission and vision.
• Familiarity using applicant tracking systems and GSuite.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent time management skills and attention to detail
