About The Role:

We are looking for a skilled HR professional who is ready to make that next step in their HR career. This role will support the organization with day to day generalist responsibilities with a focus on onboarding/offboarding, performance management, employee relations and developing company policies and practices.

What You'll Do:

  • Provides support and guidance to employees, management, and other staff when complex, specialized, and sensitive questions and issues arise; may be required to administer and execute routine tasks in delicate circumstances such as providing reasonable accommodations, investigating allegations of wrongdoing, and terminations.
  • Oversees the performance management process and assists with employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
  • Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
  • Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
  • Must be able to work flexible schedule, as needed.

 What You'll Have:

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
  • SHRM or P (preferred)
  • 3+ years of human resources and learning and development work experience in supply chain, operations, customer success, or logistics.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills with a people-first mentality.
  • Next-level attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Courage to challenge the status quo when logic and reason require it. 
  • Empowered proactive problem solving.
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organizations HRIS.
