Appetize Technologies, Inc. is looking for a stellar HR Generalist based in Los Angeles to join our growing HR team. This role will support the Admin team’s strategy to help retain and grow best-in-class talent and provide employees with a great working experience. You will be responsible for supporting all employees including upper management, helping to manage employee relations, talent development and all other HR initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with all HR responsibilities and providing counsel to all employees
• Support HR management of performance management initiatives and documentation of employee reviews
• Manage benefits administration by working with vendors, resolving issues, answering employee questions, running open enrollment & conducting employee benefits training
• Collaborate in the planning and execution of employee events
• Assist HR management in processing all leave of absence requests including PDL, FMLA, Worker’s Comp and Short or Long Term Disability requests
• Partner with legal and management to review and implement policies according to changes in state and federal law

Key Skills/Requirements:

• 2+ years HR experience
• Strong interpersonal skills, good intuition, and the ability to communicate to all levels of the organization
• Proven ability to handle confidential information in a professional manner
• Ability to prioritize workload, handle multiple tasks at once, and strong attention to detail is required
• Relationship focused, with approachable style and ability to establish rapport with employees and key partners at all levels
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Mac and Google applications and experience with HRIS and payroll systems
• Bachelor’s Degree
