Overview:
PTTOW! + WORLDZ is on the hunt for a passionate, self starter and tenacious Head of Talent to join our world class team. We are looking for someone who is passionate about shaping tomorrow’s culture, resourceful and forward thinking. The primary goal of this position is to bring new, top tier talent (think Elon Musk, Richard Branson, Pharrell, Coldplay, Evan Spiegel, Brian Chesky, etc…) into our community & collaborate effectively with our members while enhancing the integrity and effectiveness of our community, mission and values.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and curate the worlds most influential talent across Music, Film, TV, Sports, Business, Tech, Books & Politics
- Posses and develop friendships and relationship with todays top talent / influencers
- Create influencer strategy to best execute and maximize our mission and vision
- Research all prospective influencers and utilize Salesforce to categorize and organize all contacts
- Support PTTOW! & WORLDZ team and all member activities
PERFORMANCE
Performance will be evaluated based on identifying, executing and confirming our wish list talent. Performance will also be judged, but not limited to ability to function as a team member, overall productivity, command of issues, and rapport with PTTOW! Members.
QUALIFICATIONS
The individual must be organized, possess exceptional communicative skills, and able to work as a team while being able to think and work independently. The individual is expected to be comfortable working in a dynamic and fast changing environment and able to adapt and excel when faced with new challenges. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s Degree (B.A) or equivalent, preferably in Business, Communications, Political Science, and/or Arts
- Experience working at Talent Agency (WME, CAA, etc…) and/or as Talent Publicist, Talent Manager, Talent Booker that includes at least two years of intensive experience pitching, negotiating and placing talent within events, speaking slots, and corporate appearance opportunities.
- 5+ years of experience
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Knowledge and passion for the youth industry, media, marketing and culture
- Self-motivated and ability to work independently
- Candidates must have existing relationships
- Accepts constructive criticism without over-reacting or getting angry/sullen
- Great interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills
- Professional dress, speech and manner
