About This Role

At Apeel Sciences, we look to nature to help the global food system improve quality, reduce waste, and ensure an abundant future for our planet. We are seeking a results oriented Executive Recruiter with extensive executive and senior level recruiting experience in sales, technology and start up environments. This role will build exceptional relationships internally with key stakeholders and be able to source, engage and recruit top talent to support out global operations.

What You’ll Do

  • Partner with internal stakeholders to gain a clear view of their senior level executive needs 
  • Drive Apeel’s recruitment process to execute successfully against identified opportunities including building a best in class executive recruiting process
  • Devise and carry out targeted research strategies, including research into client companies, competitors, and relevant market places
  • Define position descriptions, document role specifications, and build target candidate personas
  • Lead full cycle recruitment processes and candidate workflows, including kickoff meetings, resume review and sourcing, interviewing, offer negotiation and closing, and managing the candidate experience from end to end
  • Work cross-functionally with all departments in the organization as a resource for creative ways to approach new hiring challenges

What You Bring

  • 10+ years of recruitment experience in a high-growth or high-volume industry, with min. 3+ years experience hiring for senior-level roles required; prior experience hiring internationally preferred
  • Previous experience with executive search--internally within a company or at an executive search firm
  • Strong business acumen and market insight 
  • Effective negotiation, influencing, and communication skills
  • Strong sense of diplomacy and tact; able to build rapport with stakeholders across various levels and functions
  • Deep knowledge of applicant tracking systems and reporting, as well as proactive sourcing tools (LinkedIn Recruiter, indeed, Glassdoor, etc.)
  • Exceptional judgment and proven ability to work independently
  • Bilingual language capabilities preferred
