We are looking for a motivated and resourceful Director of Talent Acquisition to join our growing organization. You will be an integral part of PeerStreet's People Operations team and report directly to our Head of People.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a 5+ member team to execute full life cycle recruiting activities - from sourcing, interview, offer and onboarding.
  • Establish and form effective relationships across the business influencing recruitment strategies and processes.
  • Advise the team and company on market trends, recruitment strategies, and sourcing approaches to attract and hire top talent.
  • Work well within a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a high sense of urgency and contributing where necessary. 
  • Develop new recruitment strategies and best practices to continue to refine the process.
  • Serve as the point of contact for agencies and vendors to negotiate contracts and terms.
  • Responsible for career development of team members (coaching, supervision, evaluation, promotion recommendations).

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of experience leading, building and managing a team.
  • At least 8 years of recruiting experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to partner with hiring managers
  • Must be proactive with strong initiative
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
  • Ability to handle periods of increased workloads and be flexible as business needs change.
  • Experience with Application Tracking Systems, Greenhouse experience is a strong plus.
  • Previous startup experience a strong plus.
  • Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
  • Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organizations HRIS and talent management systems.
