We are looking for a seasoned leader who will lead the development and implementation of all People & Culture functions to focus on elevating the employee experience as well as clients, spearheading employee relations, transforming talent acquisition, leading training and development, overseeing compensation and benefits, and managing compliance. As a member of the Company’s leadership team, the Director of People & Culture will partner cross-functionally to establish and implement strategic objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Create a people strategy and a plan that delivers on Enervee’s needs and goals. This includes talent acquisition, performance management, coaching & training, onboarding/ offboarding processes, employee retention, and employee benefits.
  • Provide insights regarding talent, competitive landscape, compensation, and new ways of working.
  • Responsible for supporting/developing new, best-practice innovative programs, streamlined process workflows, workplace problem resolution, and high-impact, results-driven outcomes.
  • Recommend, implement, and audit any people systems and processes that will improve business operations and employee engagement.
  • Maintain responsibility for organization compliance with federal, state and local legislation pertaining to all personnel matters.
  • Recommend and manage employee programs for professional learning & development, and performance management processes.
  • Partner with Finance for payroll & benefit plans management, and merit increase/bonus cycles.
  • Drive continuous focus on initiatives to create a high-performance organization.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in a People/HR role with continuously expanding scope, in a high-growth technology environment.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or advanced degree preferred. SHRM-SCP, SPHR certifications would be a bonus.
  • Proven knowledge of employment and labor laws.
  • Demonstrated HR leadership experience, with the ability to operate at the tactical level and get the job done, while having the ability to think strategically with planning and decision making.
  • Highly motivated professional with strong people skills, high EQ, experienced and adept at interacting at all levels of the organization.
  • Skilled at identifying and managing the tactical HR needs of a growing business with a strong focus on diversity and equal opportunity.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to turn business goals into HR policies and procedures to optimize team performance and culture.
  • Optimistic and enthusiastic team player driven to create a positive work environment through collaboration, team building, and influencing skills.
  • Social media and tech savvy, and familiar with HR tools and platforms.

Enervee is a remote-first, distributed team, located in 27 states. Our HQ is in the trendy Abbot Kinney Blvd, a mile long strip of the latest fashion, art and food. Venice, CA is known for its canals, beach, and ocean front walk - a 2.5 mile pedestrian promenade.
