TITLE:  Director of Human Resources

INDUSTRY: Clean Energy

LOCATION:  Pasadena, CA

Our client is a well funded, early stage company with fewer than 50 employees.  The company is expected to double in size during the next year.  As a result, the company will be hiring a hands-on Director of Human Resources to perform and manage the following functions:

• Headcount planning and approval
• Recruiting
• Training
• Culture
• Administration
• Employee Relations

Qualified candidates will possess the following:

• 10+ years of Human Resources experience, with five or more years served in an "HR Generalist" capacity at startups or growing, private companies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• The ability to think strategically and proactively anticipate and solve problems.
• A flexible approach with an ability to affect change.
• A passion for people and business, and an understanding of why HR can serve as a critical, value-added function.
• An ability to see initiatives through to completion.
