Job Summary:

This position will be is responsible for attracting strong candidates to fill various open positions throughout the organization while building pipelines of talent for various departments. This will include interviewing and referring applicants for clerical, administrative operational, and management positions throughout the Company.

Job Expectations:

  • Proactively source candidates through online job search engines, referrals, and direct sourcing using proactive methods (social media, cold calling, etc.)
  • Conduct phone screens, provide candidate assessments, and recommend viable candidates
  • Manage all candidate communications and information to ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the interview process to offer to candidate
  • Demonstrate ability to drive social media recruiting efforts
  • Handling calendars for hiring managers and the scheduling of phone screens and onsite interviews
  • Enter data into the applicant tracking system (ATS) and handle internal application process
  • Contact candidates to obtain information / employment documents and respond to general recruiting inquires of applicants and internal employees
  • Tracking and processing invoices and expense reports for agency / vendor payments
  • Plan recruiting events and coordinate career fairs 
  • Maintain candidate tracking, records, status and hiring statistics, using an applicant tracking system while following all Affirmative Action guidelines
  • Manage Job Requisition Process for all departments
  • Manage company Employee Referral Program
  • Prioritize and hire against tight timelines and deliverables and have the ability to refocus your efforts when business needs change
  • Maintain the ability to draw on extensive knowledge of the recruiting landscape and be willing to dive deep to learn all functional areas
  • Participate in recruiting events such as job fairs and other networking events
  • Support operational development, policies, procedures, vendor selection, and yearly budgeting
  • Act as expert on recruiting, best practices, utilizing a variety of tools including internet sourcing, social networks, and industry specific sites
  • Utilize Applicant Tracking System to monitor daily applicant traffic and communicate with hiring departments
  • Establish recruiting requirements by studying organization plans and objectives; meeting with managers to discuss needs
  • Able to recruit entry level to executive level applicants
  • Build applicant sources by researching and contacting community services, colleges, employment agencies, recruiters, media, and internet sites
  • Determine position requirements by meeting with department managers, studying job description and understanding necessary job qualifications
  • Write and create job ads that sell the company, describes position accurately, and explains benefits
  • Determines applicant qualifications by interviewing applicants, analyzing responses, verifying references, and comparing qualifications to job requirements
  • Arranges management interviews by coordinating schedules and escorting applicant to interviews
  • Regular follow up with the respective hiring managers and candidates to ensure timeliness of recruitment process
  • Develop strong relationships and partner with hiring manager, business leaders and HR

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Required:

  • Excellent communication and organization skills
  • Ability to function as a full-cycle recruiter with the ability to develop sourcing strategies, plans and pipelines from entry to executive level including technical roles.
  • Certified Internet Researcher (CIR), LinkedIn Certified Recruiter (LCR) preferred
  • Knowledge of company policies and procedures
  • Proven ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Ability to manage several complex projects simultaneously while working under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Strong written, verbal, analytical and presentation skills.
  • Strong working knowledge of current federal and state regulations related to employment (i.e. EEOC, ADA, etc.).
  • Knowledge to recruit complex Technical and Executive level positions.

Equipment Knowledge:

  • Strong MS Office skills (Word, Power Point & Excel)

Experience Requirements:

Generally requires a minimum of eight (8) years recruiting experience for all levels of candidates. Also, be able to source applicants for difficult to fill positions. Experience recruiting for an e-Commerce distribution center highly desirable.

Education Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Communication or Business Administration or related field preferred, or a combination of education and equivalent work experience.
