We are seeking an HR Specialist with expertise in Global Mobility and a strong foundation in HR operations to join our team. This role combines subject matter expertise in immigration, relocation, and tax compliance with broad HR generalist responsibilities that support employees and managers across the full lifecycle. The ideal candidate will be skilled at managing vendor relationships, navigating complex mobility processes, and ensuring compliance, while also thriving in day-to-day HR operations such as onboarding, job changes, promotions, and terminations. This is a unique opportunity for an HR professional who enjoys building and refining programs while serving as a trusted partner to employees, managers, and cross-functional teams in a dynamic, global environment
Key Responsibilities:
  • Partner with immigration attorneys and external vendors to coordinate visa, work permit, and tax compliance processes
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Cartus (relocation) and Vialto (immigration/tax), managing escalations and ensuring service quality
  • Ensure all deadlines (visa filings, extensions, renewals, tax submissions) are met and communicated clearly to employees and managers
  • Draft and issue supporting documents such as assignment letters, relocation agreements, and employment verification letters
  • Act as the liaison between employees, managers, and vendors to ensure seamless mobility experiences.
  • Track mobility cases and maintain accurate documentation for compliance and reporting
  • Act as the internal subject matter expert for international mobility, advising on new cases as they arise.
  • Oversee ongoing immigration and relocation vendor relationships, ensuring quality of service.
  • Provide employee communication and case management support on an as-needed basis for immigration, relocation, and compliance questions.
  • Stay current on immigration, relocation, and tax requirements, updating processes and stakeholders as needed
  • Support employee lifecycle processes including onboarding, job changes, promotions, transfers, and terminations
  • Partner with HRBPs and managers to execute organizational changes and ensure HRIS data accuracy

Basic Qualifications:
  • 4+ years of HR experience, including at least 2 years in global mobility or international HR
  • Hands-on experience managing relocation vendors (e.g., Cartus) and immigration/tax partners (e.g., Vialto).
  • Strong knowledge of global immigration, relocation, and tax implications
  • Solid HR operations background across the employee lifecycle
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems (e.g., UKG, Workday, SAP) and Microsoft Office/Google Workspace tools
  • Excellent vendor management, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of U.S. immigration processes (e.g., H-1B, L-1, green cards) and familiarity with international mobility considerations
  • Experience working with global mobility vendors (e.g., relocation providers, immigration counsel, tax advisors)
  • Strong understanding of core HR operations (onboarding, job changes, promotions, terminations, HRIS updates)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to partner effectively with employees, managers, and external vendors
  • High attention to detail, with strong organizational and documentation skills

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Professional certification in HR (e.g., PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, GMS-Global Mobility Specialist)
  • Ability to analyze data and generate mobility/HR compliance reports
  • Comfort navigating ambiguity and adapting processes in a scaling or global organization
  • Demonstrated success building or improving global mobility processes and vendor management programs
  • Pilot or aviation enthusiast

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well market and business considerations: Summary Pay Range: $85,000- $120,000.
This position is currently part of Boeing but is planned to transition to an independent company owned by Thoma Bravo, as part of a pending divestiture of the Digital Aviation Solutions organization. If you are selected for this role, your employment may initially be with Boeing (dependent on start date). Subject to final regulatory approvals and closing conditions, your employment may transfer to the divested business owned by Thoma Bravo at close. Additional details about this transition will be shared as they become available.
