We are looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented, and experienced HR, Payroll & Compliance Specialist based in the Philippines to support and improve our human resources operations, payroll administration, employee documentation, and Philippine labor compliance.
This is a hands-on HR role, not a people-management role. The ideal candidate should be able to take ownership of HR operations and payroll processes while ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, compliance, and timely execution.
The right candidate has strong knowledge of Philippine labor laws, payroll rules, statutory benefits, government-mandated contributions, HR documentation, employee relations, and remote workforce support. This person should help make HR and payroll easier, more organized, and more compliant for the company.
This role is ideal for someone who can manage both people operations and payroll-related responsibilities, ensuring employees are properly supported while company records, compensation, benefits, and compliance processes remain accurate and up to date.
Manage day-to-day HR operations for Philippines-based and remote team members
Own and run the payroll process for Philippines-based team members
Collect, review, and validate timesheets, attendance records, leave records, and payroll inputs
Calculate regular pay, overtime, night differential, holiday pay, bonuses, deductions, allowances, leave adjustments, and final pay
Prepare payroll summaries, payroll reports, and payment-ready payroll files for review and approval
Coordinate with leadership, accounting, bookkeeping, banking partners, payroll providers, or external compliance partners as needed
Support compliance with Philippine statutory benefits and government requirements, including SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, BIR-related payroll documentation, 13th month pay, holiday pay, overtime pay, night differential pay, leave entitlements, and other applicable requirements
Maintain accurate payroll records, employee records, contracts, HR files, organizational charts, and compliance documentation
Handle employee onboarding, orientation, documentation, regularization tracking, and offboarding
Support employee relations, workplace concerns, policy guidance, and internal HR support
Ensure HR policies, contracts, and procedures are aligned with applicable Philippine labor laws and employment standards
Track attendance, leaves, regularization dates, employment status changes, performance review schedules, and HR compliance deadlines
Prepare and maintain HR and payroll reports for leadership review
Support performance evaluations, employee development documentation, corrective action documentation, and employee engagement initiatives
Review and improve HR workflows, payroll processes, templates, contracts, handbooks, checklists, and internal policies
Ensure confidentiality, accuracy, and proper handling of sensitive employee, payroll, and company information
Stay updated on Philippine labor law, payroll compliance, statutory contribution updates, wage orders, and government reporting requirements
Recommend process improvements that reduce manual work, prevent payroll errors, improve documentation, and make HR operations easier for management and employees
This role is expected to take strong ownership of the company’s payroll process for Philippines-based team members. The HR, Payroll & Compliance Specialist will be responsible for preparing, reviewing, calculating, documenting, and coordinating payroll from start to finish.
This includes managing payroll inputs, reviewing timesheets, calculating pay and deductions, preparing payroll reports, coordinating statutory contribution information, and ensuring payroll is accurate, timely, compliant, and properly documented.
Final payment release, bank transfers, government remittances, or official filings may require approval or coordination with company leadership, accounting, finance, external payroll providers, or local compliance partners. However, this role is expected to manage the payroll process and ensure all payroll information is complete, accurate, and ready for processing.
