The Lead, HR Operations will serve as a Project Manager for all internal HR processes throughout the employee lifecycle. They will support the Manager, HR Operations with overseeing the HR Operations team, ensuring they provide the highest level of customer service, stay up to date on legal and compliance matters, making data integrity in our HR systems the upmost priority. Their purpose is to decrease the amount of HR administrative work placed on our leaders and automate processes wherever possible to elevate and streamline our employee experience. 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the team responsible for the operational aspect of the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, and job changes for Corporate, Retail, and Warehouse functions of the organization, reporting to the Manager, HR Operations of any challenges, opportunities, etc.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert in the full employee lifecycle, regularly hosting office hours and/or trainings for managers and HR team members:
    • Onboarding: Offer letters, new hire paperwork, background checks, Workday, ADP, Form I-9, E-Verify, etc.
    • Offboarding: Workday approvals, separation paperwork, final pay inquiries, etc.
    • System Integrations: Workday, ADP, MyStaff, Legion, etc.
  • Lead projects including but not limited to seasonal hiring + conversions, metric reporting, system integrations, mass data changes, wage changes, compensation reviews.
  • Partner with Payroll to support effective systems and ensure data integrity, including, but not limited to, conducting regular audits and maintenance of Workday and ADP.
  • Dealing with day-to-day inquiries (e.g. pay, attendance, policy guidance) and where necessary, directing inquiries to the best person or team to handle/partner with.
  • Stay up to date on legal and compliance matters across the US and Canada, ensuring 100% compliance.
  • Support ongoing NSOs through poster orders, partnering with Legal on offer letters, new hire paperwork + handbook addendums, partnering with Payroll on ADP set-up, and Recruiting on hiring needs.
  • Support with creating internal and external P&Ps and resources of HR processes throughout the employee lifecycle, regularly auditing and updating them as needed.
  • Partner with the Manager, HR Operations to identify and address gaps in support.
  • Support with ad-hoc tasks and projects.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Certification in HR a plus
  • 3-5 years Human Resources experience, with at least 1 year managing or supervising a team.
  • High volume administration experience (including systems/database administration) in HR, Recruitment, or Payroll.
  • 1-2 years project management experience.
  • Proficiency with SharePoint, Workday, ADP, Microsoft Office Suite a plus.

The base salary range for this position is $80,000-$100,000 per year which represents the current range for the base salary for this exempt position. Please note that actual salaries will vary based on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. As such, on occasion and when applicable, there is the possibility that the final, agreed-upon base salary may be outside of the upper end of the range. Please also note the range listed is just one component of the company’s total rewards package for exempt employees. Other rewards may include performance bonuses, long term incentives, a PTO policy, and many other progressive benefits.
