Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and proactive HR Manager to oversee and manage all aspects of human resources for our movers and administrative team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR management, particularly within the gig or on-demand economy, and will be responsible for overseeing the recruiting/onboarding process, managing movers, developing HR policies, ensuring compliance with labor laws, and fostering a positive and inclusive work culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
- Oversee the recruitment and selection process.
- Manage employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues.
- Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics, and procedures across the organization.
- Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management, including insurance and safety regulations.
- Maintain and update employee records according to policy and legal requirements.
- Conduct performance reviews and manage performance management processes.
- Provide support to employees in various HR-related topics such as leaves and compensation and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Enhance job satisfaction by resolving issues promptly, applying new perks and benefits.
- Monitor and manage HR metrics, such as turnover rates and satisfaction scores.
- Foster a positive working environment and ensure ongoing professional development for the administrative team.
- Collaborate with management to develop and implement HR policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- At least 4 years of proven working experience as an HR Manager or similar role, preferably within the gig or on-demand economy.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field.
- Master’s degree or Diploma in Human Resources or related field.
- Excellent knowledge of labor legislation and HR best practices.
- Demonstrable experience with Human Resources metrics.
- Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills.
- Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
