We're looking for an experienced HR Business Partner to join our team in Clayton, Australia. This is an opportunity to partner with leaders, support our people, and help shape a positive, high-performing workplace where employees can do their best work. This role is under Hybrid Model.

About the Role

Reporting into the regional HR function, you'll deliver end-to-end HR support across our Australian operations while aligning local priorities with broader business and people strategies.

As a trusted advisor to leaders, you'll provide practical HR guidance, champion employee experience, ensure compliance with Australian employment legislation, and drive continuous improvement across HR services.

What You'll Be Doing

You'll play a key role across the full employee lifecycle, including:

  • Partnering with leaders to attract, recruit and onboard great talent.

  • Providing trusted advice on Australian employment legislation, HR policies and people practices.

  • Supporting performance management, employee development and succession planning.

  • Managing employee relations matters, including performance, conduct, workplace investigations and grievance resolution.

  • Partnering with leaders on remuneration reviews, incentive programs and workforce planning.

  • Supporting organisational change initiatives, restructures and business transformation activities.

  • Managing local benefits and ensuring compliance with legislative and company requirements.

  • Building strong relationships with site leadership and key stakeholders across the business.

  • Preparing for audits, maintaining HR compliance and monitoring legislative changes.

  • Developing positive relationships with employees and employee representatives, including unions where applicable.

  • Supporting employee engagement, wellbeing and inclusion initiatives.

  • Identifying opportunities to improve HR processes, systems and service delivery.

  • Promoting an ethical, inclusive and high-performing workplace culture.

About You

You'll bring a combination of strong HR expertise, commercial thinking and a genuine passion for supporting people and business outcomes.

We're looking for someone who has:

  • A tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business, or a related discipline.

  • +5 years experience minimum in a Human Resources Generalist or HR Business Partner role, ideally within a complex, manufacturing & Sales and multinational environment.

  • Strong knowledge of Australian employment legislation and contemporary HR practices.

  • Experience supporting diverse workforces, including manufacturing, commercial and technical teams.

  • Proven capability managing employee relations matters and providing pragmatic advice to leaders.

  • The ability to influence stakeholders and build trusted relationships across all levels of the organisation.

  • A proactive approach with the flexibility to move between strategic initiatives and day-to-day operational HR support.
