Blink is looking to expand our HR team to include a thoughtful, empathetic, and capable Human Resources Generalist. At Blink, HR’s role is to create conditions where people can do their best work. As a consulting company, our people are the business and strong HR operations are essential to supporting business success and employee wellbeing. 

In this role, the HR Generalist will be core to Blink’s day‑to‑day HR operations. This includes owning high‑touch onboarding and offboarding, responding to employee questions with sound judgment, supporting HR programs and benefits accurately, and ensuring that policies and processes are communicated and applied consistently and compliantly. 

We’re looking for someone with a strong HR foundation who’s excited to contribute and continue learning in a fast‑paced, nimble environment. To be successful in this role, you’ll bring a solid understanding of HR best practices and compliance, along with strong judgment and interpersonal skills. You build trust easily, form meaningful relationships across the business, and are seen as a thoughtful HR partner to both managers and employees.This is a hands‑on role for someone who approaches problem-solving with care and attention to detail.

 

What you'll be doing:

  • Represent Blink’s culture in day‑to‑day interactions, balancing empathy with clarity and structure

  • Serve as a first point of contact for employee and manager HR questions, providing clear, thoughtful, and compliant guidance; escalate complex or sensitive issues appropriately

  • Own high‑touch onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure employees are supported through key transitions

  • Answer benefit‑related questions and coordinate with payroll and finance on benefit deductions as needed

  • Oversee weekly hourly timecard reviews and flag issues proactively

  • Coordinate with payroll on time‑sensitive matters related to timekeeping and employee changes

  • Assist with administering Blink’s benefits programs, including open enrollment activities, all‑company communication, new enrollments, changes, and terminations

  • Maintain employee files in compliance with legal and company standards

  • Apply employment law practices as needed to assist in solutioning and assure company compliance with federal, state, and local employment requirements

  • Build, maintain, and oversee Blink’s HR ticketing system (Siit) and HRIS system (Paylocity) to ensure data integrity and accurate reporting

  • Assist with reporting on HR metrics and keeping policies and procedures up to date on the HR wiki

  • Execute and help streamline or improve day‑to‑day HR processes and systems

  • Support HR team Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion efforts, including pay equity tracking and inclusive policy development

  • Collaborate with parent company Mphasis on cross-functional needs

  • Support special projects and operational work as assigned

What we're looking for:

  • 3-5 years of HR experience, experience in a rigorous HR environment a plus.

  • Good working knowledge of HR practices, HR regulations, employment law, and employee relations.

  • A track record of personal accountability, strong work ethic, and integrity.

  • High level of discretion and ability to manage sensitive and confidential information

  • Proven organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to prioritize effectively.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with proven ability to take initiative and build strong, productive relationships.

  • Ability to handle competing priorities and to adapt and work effectively in a challenging, fast-paced environment.

  • Positive, professional attitude and presence.

  • Ability to work well in both a team environment and independently.
