Are you a strategic HR leader with a passion for people, performance, and purpose? Dungarvin is seeking an experienced Human Resources Director to join our team and lead HR efforts to support Cambrian Homecare LLC, A Dungarvin Company. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real impact in a mission-driven organization that supports the aging, injured, and developmentally disabled.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
As the HR Director, you'll serve as a key partner to senior leadership and oversee a team of HR Business Partners. You’ll align HR strategies with business objectives, champion talent development, and ensure compliance with all employment regulations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Partnering with operations leaders to develop and execute HR strategies aligned with business goals.
- Leading and developing core HR functions such as compensation, talent acquisition, development, and employee relations.
- Coaching and developing HR team members.
- Using data-driven insights to support strategic workforce planning and retention.
- Promoting a positive, inclusive, and compliant workplace culture.
- Serving as an advisor on HR policies, conflict resolution, and organizational development.
MUST HAVE:
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
- Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field required.
- 8+ years of progressive HR experience, including 2-4 years in a director-level role.
- Experienced in strategic HR conversations, project management, change management, and data analytics.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Must be knowledgeable in federal and state employment law.
NICE TO HAVE:
- SHRM-CP or PHR certification.
- Experience in human services or healthcare field.
SKILLS CRITICAL FOR SUCCESS:
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Comfortable juggling multiple priorities at once.
- Ability to think critically, recognize connections, translates goals into action, and use sound judgment to make choices in alignment with strategy and company culture/values.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think outside of the box, bringing new ideas and concepts to the table.
- Adaptable and flexible.
- Excellent communication skills ( both verbally and written) and strong active listening skills.
- Ability to build and foster strong partnerships with employees at all levels.
