Job Summary:
The HR Digital Product Owner serves as the product owner for Timekeeping and Workforce Management solutions, ensuring they deliver maximum value to the business. The role is responsible for the roadmap, enhancement backlog, and day-to-day performance of Timekeeping and Workforce Management solutions within Allegion’s HR technology ecosystem. This role translates HR strategy and frontline feedback into system functionality that drives adoption, compliance, and improved user experiences.
What You Will Do:
Align the technical roadmap for assigned platforms with HR strategies and pain points by collaborating with HRBPs, Payroll, Legal, Finance, IT, and stakeholders, including new features, enhancements, fixes, and UX improvements.
Provide strategic input on the end-to-end HR digital strategy across integrated platforms (e.g., ServiceNow, Workday, Kronos, Passport, LCP Certified, ERPs) in partnership with the Director, HR Technology Strategy and IT key stakeholders.
Work with functional and technical teams to design and configure Timekeeping and Workforce Management solutions that meet business requirements, ensuring scalability, compliance, and alignment with strategy.
Lead product discovery and continuous improvement efforts in collaboration with Payroll, IT, and technology vendors.
Partner with HRBPs, Payroll, Legal to identify opportunities to simplify Timekeeping technical configuration.
Establish and maintain governance processes for business process changes and enhancements.
Balance competing priorities through transparent trade-offs and manage intake and triage of enhancement requests.
Serve as the primary contact regarding available functionality, upcoming changes, and enhancement prioritization.
Partner with HRBPs, Payroll, Legal, IT, vendors, and end users to deliver features, resolve issues to ensure successful rollouts, adoption, and ongoing support.
Supports requirements gathering for timekeeping system in support of M&A pipeline integration in partnership with HR M&A leads, payroll, and IT.
Lead coordination and communication of functional workstream updates to project sponsors and stakeholders.
Manage functional interdependencies across HRBPs, Payroll, Legal, Finance, and IT.
Translate user needs into clear requirements and test cases.
Validate new features through UAT, feedback loops, and adoption metrics.
Facilitate feedback sessions, demos, and solution workshops with Payroll, HRBPs, and end users.
In partnership with IT, ensure adherence to design standards, documentation, and testing protocols.
Collaborate with technical teams to maintain system stability, data integrity, and compliance.
Coordinate with IT and vendors on platform upgrades, releases, and break/fix cycles.
Assess organizational change readiness for new features, releases, and enhancements with key stakeholders.
What You Need to Succeed:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Information Systems, or related field.
Experience:
5+ years in HR systems, business process design, or product ownership
Demonstrated success leading Timekeeping implementations, optimizations, or enhancements.
Strong knowledge of UKG Workforce Manager Pro (Kronos) timekeeping modules. Knowledge of Passport preferred.
Experience supporting technology needs for union and non-union locations, multi-national client groups, and experience with certified payroll preferred.
Deep functional knowledge of Payroll or Timekeeping processes
Hands-on experience with enterprise platforms like Workday, Kronos, ADP, or similar

Compensation: This range is provided by Allegion. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience.
The expected Base Salary Range: $130,000-$145,000. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
