BASIC FUNCTION SUMMARY: 
The HR Coordinator supports the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources function within a fast-paced promotions and branded merchandise company. This role is ideal for someone early in their HR career who has a strong foundation in HR fundamentals and is ready to take ownership of administrative and coordination responsibilities. 

The HR Coordinator will play a key role in ensuring HR processes run smoothly, accurately, and efficiently while supporting employees, managers, and HR leadership in a highly collaborative environment. 

This role requires a proactive, detail-oriented, and team-first mindset with the ability to thrive in a dynamic, high-volume business. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Duties, Skills, Responsibilities, and Expectations: 
Onboardings & Offboardings 

  • Assist with onboarding process for new hires, including paperwork, system access, and orientation scheduling 
  • Partner with hiring managers and HR Manager to ensure smooth and consistent onboarding experiences 
  • Support offboarding activities including exit documentation and HRIS/system updates 

Employee Support 

  • Serve as a first point of contact for general HR questions and support 
  • Assist employees with HR-related inquiries and direct them to appropriate resources when needed 
  • Support HR tickets and close them out within established timeframes 
  • Support employee engagement initiatives and company culture programs 

Recruiting Coordination Support 

  • Assist with scheduling interviews and coordinating candidate communications 
  • Support job postings and basic recruiting administrative tasks 
  • Partner with HR Manager and internal hiring managers to ensure a smooth recruiting process 

HR Compliance & Reporting 

  • Assist with maintaining HR files and required documentation 
  • Support audits and reporting as needed 
  • Ensure confidentiality and proper handling of sensitive employee information 
  • Support other ad-hoc projects and tasks that may arise

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field required 
  • 2–3 years of HR experience in an HR coordinator, HR assistant, or similar role 
  • Experience in a fast-paced environment (promotions, retail, agency, logistics, or similar preferred) 
  • Working knowledge of HR processes such as onboarding, employee records, and HR compliance 
  • Experience with HRIS systems (iSolved or similar) 
  • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace 

WORKING CONDITIONS: 

  • Position is fully remote to the US only 
  • Ability to accommodate multiple time zones with primary ET (EST/EDT) 
  • Dedicated workspace and high-speed internet 
  • Frequent video conference/email/chat 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: 

  • Maintaining a stationary position for up to 80% of the workday
  • Consistently operate a computer and other productivity equipment, including keyboard, webcam, and document scanner 
  • Clarity of vision of 30” or less 
  • Ability to perceive sound in the capacity of oral communication 
  • Exertion of up to 10 lbs. of force as related to the lifting or moving of objects 
The base salary range for this role is $50,000 to $60,000 per year. Compensation for this role will vary based on factors such as qualifications, experience, skill level, and competencies. The Company will meet minimum wage or the minimum of the pay range (whichever is higher) based on city, county, and state requirements.
