Job Description:

As an HR Coordinator, you will be a key point of contact for new hires joining MPS and manage administrative tasks for our HR Department (People Team).

This highly visible role combines employee-facing support, operational coordination, and administrative execution to keep our people processes running smoothly. You'll act as a trusted partner across multiple stakeholders while creating a welcoming, professional experience for prospective and newly hired employees.

This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, enjoys interacting with people, excels at managing multiple priorities, and is comfortable handling both administrative and hands-on operational work.

Responsibilities

Onboarding & Offboarding

  • Facilitate new hire onboarding activities, ensuring a smooth transition for incoming employees
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to set up workspaces, equipment, and onboarding materials
  • Manage onboarding and offboarding documents and requests with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Process terminations and meet with employees and teams to ensure smooth offboarding transitions
  • Partner with payroll to submit employee paperwork in a timely manner and ensure accurate data entry

Recruiting Support

  • Assist the recruiting team with interview scheduling and coordination throughout the hiring process
  • Coordinate logistics, scheduling, and operational support for recruiting and onboarding events

Data & Documentation

  • Track onboarding, offboarding, and recruiting-related data using spreadsheets and internal systems
  • Maintain documentation, reporting, and administrative processes related to onboarding, with close attention to detail when recording and verifying sensitive, confidential information

Communication & Administration

  • Communicate clearly and professionally with candidates, employees, and stakeholders
  • Manage broader HR administrative tasks, including employee records and other duties as required

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of professional experience in recruiting coordination, onboarding support, HR operations, administrative operations, or a related field
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including tracking, reporting, and data management
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven experience coordinating multiple tasks, projects, and stakeholders simultaneously
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Experience with HRIS systems such as Workday and ADP
  • Professional demeanor with the ability to represent the organization in highly visible, candidate-facing situations
  • Ability to build and maintain healthy working relationships with all employees
  • Sound judgment, sensitivity, and creativity in adapting to changing needs and situations
  • Experience working cross-functionally with multiple teams and business groups
  • Prior recruiting, recruiting coordination, or candidate experience support experience highly preferred

Pay is based on market location and may vary based on factors including experience, skills, education and other job-related reasons. The target hiring range for this position is $70,000-115,000 annually.
