The DEI Center for Awareness and Advocacy (the Center) supports New York Life's commitment to fostering an inclusive and respectful workplace where every individual can contribute their best and thrive. As part of the Center's team, this HR Coordinator role will support inclusive workplace initiatives, coordinate employee engagement programs, and serve as the liaison for one of the Company's Employee Resource Groups (ERGs).
What You'll Do:
• Handle administration of the Center's programming and initiatives, including:
o Coordinate guest speakers and contracts with legal, communications, and ERG leadership teams.
o Support event planning by coordinating logistics, securing venues, and handling related administrative activities.
o Manage the Center's inbox and mailing lists, ensuring timely responses and distribution of communications.
o Maintain the calendar for upcoming events, including minimizing scheduling overlaps or conflicts.
o Create and manage program surveys using Qualtrics.
o Maintain and periodically update the ERG Handbook as needed.
o Partner with Communications to enhance the Center's intranet pages, driving engagement and improving user experience.
o Leverage analytics dashboards and other internal data for reporting.
o Maintain custom GPT documents and knowledge base.• Serve as the program manager for one of the Company's seven ERGs and act as a liaison between the Center and the ERG, including:
o Meet regularly with ERG co-chairs, attend ERG core team leadership meetings, and provide support as needed.
o Review ERG content for events, newsletters, emails, and surveys.
o Ensure program alignment with the Center and the ERG pillars and make recommendations.• Handle additional projects and assignments as needed.
What You'll Bring:
• Bachelor's degree and at least 2 years work experience preferred; employee engagement work a plus.• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to meeting deadlines.• Self-starter with proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.• Sound judgment, strong problem solving and decision-making skills, and high ethical standards.• Ability to influence without authority.• Experience with AI and creating custom GPTs and agents a plus.
Pay Transparency
Salary Range: $64,500-$81,250
Overtime eligible: Exempt
Discretionary bonus eligible: Yes
Sales bonus eligible: No
Actual base salary will be determined based on several factors but not limited to individual's experience, skills, qualifications, and job location. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. In addition to base salary, employees may also be eligible to participate in an incentive program.
