Create original and digital artwork, retouch and repair existing pieces, prepare and maintain inventory records, assist with safe movement and storage of artwork, meet deadlines, and follow warehouse safety and PPE protocols.
The In-House Artist creates original art compositions for the company. Along with maintaining inventory by preparing for transport, retouching and repurposing art inventory. Also responsible for the careful and efficient art movement and storage.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Creates original art pieces, including Digital.
- Repurposes existing art inventory.
- Oversees retouching and repairs of art inventory
- Prepares and maintains inventory databases
- Uses time effectively to meet deadlines
- Wears protective equipment as required and follows all safety guidelines
- Maintains work area clean
- Follow all safety protocols required for the job and warehouse (i.e. PPE, etc.)
- Arrives to work timely, prepared, with clean, neat appearance; observes meal periods and breaks; gives appropriate advanced notice for absences and tardiness.
- 2+ Years of experience in art retouch, repair
- Ability to work with computer systems to track inventory
- Demonstrated ability to use time effectively
- Proven ability to work in a team environment and with all levels of personnel
