What You Will Do In This Role

As the Hosting Solutions Architect - AI & Infrastructure at Inflect, you design, validate, and present the enterprise-scale hosting and colocation solutions that anchor our marketplace and advisory offerings. This is an executive-facing role that bridges the gap between raw infrastructure and client-ready strategy.

This isn't a role for someone who just understands servers; it’s for an architect who masters the intersection of power, space, and high-performance compute. You will work closely with Sales, Product, and Engineering to translate hosting capabilities -including colocation, GPUaaS, cloud, bare metal, and power/density management- into actionable solutions for NEO Clouds, Hyperscalers, and Fortune 500 enterprises. You ensure that Inflect’s hosting offerings are backed by technical rigor and AI-driven insights, enabling us to deliver rapid, high-value outcomes to the world's most demanding digital infrastructure clients.

Who You Are

You are a technical authority who thrives in front of a whiteboard and a boardroom. You don't just see a data center; you see a complex puzzle of capacity, power planning, and on-premise integrations. You possess the unique ability to translate dense supplier technical offerings and market intelligence into high-impact, client-ready solutions. You are an influencer who can navigate executive-level conversations, providing the technical confidence needed to drive massive business outcomes.

You probably have a visceral reaction to messy capacity forecasting or hand-wavy power density claims. You are someone who finds a strange sort of peace in a perfectly optimized rack elevation and a zero-defect site survey. You don't just "support" sales; you provide the technical gravity that pulls complex deals toward the finish line by spotting the space, power, and land opportunities that others overlook.

You view yourself as a translator of high-stakes requirements - taking the abstract needs of a Hyperscaler or a NEO Cloud and turning them into a repeatable, scalable framework. You aren't interested in just solving the problem once; you want to build the logic that ensures it stays solved at scale. You thrive when given the autonomy to hunt for market intelligence and the platform to present it as a clear, undeniable competitive advantage for Inflect.

You will excel in this role if you feel like we're talking about you when we say the ideal candidate brings the following to the table:

  • Hosting Mastery: Expert knowledge of colocation, GPUaaS, bare metal, and power/density optimization.
  • Executive Presence: Exceptional client-facing skills with the ability to influence key decision-makers and Fortune 500 stakeholders.
  • Analytical Rigor: Strong problem-solving skills for enterprise-scale architecture and data validation.
  • Market Intelligence: Proactive mindset for forecasting supplier capacity, land, and power opportunities.
  • Technical Integration: Familiarity with AI-driven intelligence systems and how to leverage data for marketplace solutions.
Who We Are

We're revolutionizing the way companies buy and sell digital infrastructure (Datacenter, cloud, and network services), and we're extremely proud of that. Digital infrastructure services are the building blocks of the internet and at the core of every industry. Traditionally, it's been bought manually through service provider salespeople, resulting in high costs, slow procurement cycles, and services that aren't the best fit - slowing down the ability of companies to build and innovate. Inflect's marketplace and advisory are removing friction so any company can get what they need, when they need it, with the right deal terms. By achieving our mission, we unlock businesses to build and human innovation to inflect!

Of course, we're also a startup, and it's important that you understand what that means if you work for us. We work quick, we work smart, we work hard, and the road to success is filled with some of the highest highs, but also has its fair share of lows. If you're looking for the same thing day in and day out, this will not be the place for you. (And that's totally okay!) We're all owners of Inflect -full time employees receive option grants-, and we know that we're the reason we'll achieve our goals, or we'll be the reason we don't. So believe me when I say that we're hell bent on achieving our goals. If this sounds like the kind of environment you would thrive in then we'd love to have you!

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
