POSITION SUMMARY
The Hospital Services Coordinator (HSC) provides administrative support services to the Hospital Services department performing a variety of detailed, complex, confidential duties regarding reporting and documentation of department actions and performance. This role requires experience and knowledge of department tasks, duties, and responsibilities, and the individual in the role will be successful if they a proactive team player who upholds the organizational core values of passion, integrity, respect and teamwork.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Executive Scorecard downloading and packaging up for each team member. DPCs/IHCs will still distribute.
- Generate Hospital Service Plan for C/D hospitals from a template.
- Create missed referral packaging weekly for each team member, prioritizing hospitals without a DPC or understaffed areas. DPCs/IHCs will still distribute and review/pull charts as needed.
- Low-Acuity Follow by phone Monday through Friday, Pacific Time.
- Medium Acuity Follow by phone as needed Monday through Friday, Pacific Time.
- Participate in zoom education as requested.
- Admin tasks as requested (hospital detailed report needs, etc)

QUALIFICATIONS
- Knowledge and experience in Hospital Services and relationship management.
- Able to communicate and present information effectively within a team environment.
- Able to communicate professionally and compassionately with colleagues, leadership, and partners.
- Possess strong interpersonal skills that allow him/her to deal effectively in a dynamic field.
- Exhibits excellent attention to detail and as well as strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Exhibits strong self-management and initiative.
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint and current Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing, biological sciences, business health administration, social sciences or an equivalent degree/diploma/certification as a counselor or allied health field or 2 years previous experience in the same role at an Organ Procurement Organization required
- 2 - 3 years’ experience within a hospital system. Experience in collaboration, education, and negotiation with governmental regulatory bodies and key regulatory personnel.
- Experience in presenting information, data, trends, and strategies to executive leadership, health care leaders, public groups, and other professionals.
- The position is a fully remote role and the ability to set up and maintain a home office is required.
Donor Network West takes a market-based approach to pay. All candidates' starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications and interview performance.
