As our HIM Analyst, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the integrity and accuracy of our patient data. Your coordination and support of data integrity operations will be essential in maintaining the quality of our patient medical records and resolving data integrity issues.  

To thrive in this position, you should have strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to analyze complex data. Your proven experience in a healthcare setting, combined with your knowledge of HIM operations and previous work experience with information technology systems, will be invaluable in this role.

Here’s what you will experience working as an HIM Analyst:

  • Collaborate with internal and external customers to ensure timely and accurate remediation of data integrity issues.

  • Collaborate with internal and external customers and providers to ensure timely and accurate completion of patient charts.

  • Support all areas of HIM operations as needed

  • Oversee and/or monitor one or more HIM functions.

  • Communicate directly with all hospital departments and staff to resolve medical record errors.  

  • Collaborate across multiple internal and external departments to ensure resolution of errors.

Required Skills: 

  • Strong Microsoft application skills

  • A drive to understand and troubleshoot, and a strong analytic mindset to deliver problem solving

  • Revenue Cycle and/or Healthcare EMR experience

  • A collaborative mentality and ability to interact across multiple teams

  • Ability to think outside the box to drive process improvement

  • Ability to multi-task and independently manage project demands in a dynamic environment

  • Minimum 2 years of experience within the HIM field, preferably in chart analysis.

Desired Qualifications:

  • RHIT or RHIA credential

  • EPIC and deficiency analysis experience

For this US-based position, the base pay range is $18.06 - $29.19 per hour . Individual pay is determined by role, level, location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
