Build and scale Monaco's recruiting and talent functions: own employer brand, end-to-end talent strategy, full-cycle senior hiring, org design partnership with leadership, create scalable hiring processes, hire and develop a small talent team, and define talent metrics to drive data-informed decisions.
The summary above was generated by AI

Monaco is building an AI-native revenue platform that replaces the fragmented GTM stack (CRM, sequencing, call recording, enrichment, pipeline management) with one unified system. We’re consolidating 6–10 disconnected tools into a single, purpose-built platform and redefining what’s possible when all the data lives under one roof in the age of AI - this is a category-defining shift, not an incremental improvement.

We launched publicly in Feb 2026 and are 50 people and growing. We have strong early product-market fit, creating millions in ARR in only a few months post-launch. Opportunities exist in both scaling core systems and workflows, and building new cutting edge features from 0 to 1.

We’ve raised $85M through our Series B from legendary investors including Founders Fund, Benchmark, and Human Capital. Our founders are industry veterans who previously led companies like Brex, Apollo, and Clari.

Come join us if you want to be part of a high autonomy, high pace team reinventing one of the biggest categories in enterprise software.

We're looking for our first dedicated Head of Talent to build and scale our recruiting function from the ground up. You'll own recruiting, talent development, and foundational people operations as we grow rapidly. This is a high-ownership role with direct access to the founders and real impact on who joins and how we operate as a team.

What you'll do:
  • Build Monaco’s employer brand so exceptional operators want to join.

  • Own end-to-end talent strategy and partner directly with the COO and leadership on org design and hiring priorities across Engineering, Product, GTM, and Operations.

  • Drive full-cycle recruiting for senior and critical roles, working directly with leadership team.

  • Building scalable, fast-paced and high-bar processes.

  • Hire, develop, and scale a small but high-performing talent team.

  • Define and track the talent metrics that matter and use data to drive decisions.

What we're looking for:
  • ~15 years of talent experience, with at least 5 years managing a talent team.

  • Proven track record scaling talent functions in high-growth startups.

  • Hands-on operator who has personally closed difficult technical and executive roles while building repeatable systems.

  • Strong experience with modern recruiting tools and data-driven recruiting.

  • Deep understanding of compensation, equity, and total rewards in competitive tech markets.

  • Excellent judgment and stakeholder management.

  • Builder mindset- you thrive in ambiguity and create processes where none exists.

Location:

San Francisco. We're an in-person team - 5 days in the office. At this stage, proximity genuinely accelerates product quality and team cohesion.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
