We’re looking for a Head of Talent to build and lead the systems, processes, and pipelines that power EdVisorly’s growing team. In this role, you’ll serve as the foundation of our people operations — driving excellence across recruiting, onboarding, HR systems, compliance, and performance management.
You’ll create the structure, tools, and culture that help our teams do their best work. This is a builder role for someone who loves recruiting A players, thrives in a fast-paced environment with tight turnarounds and wants to shape how a mission-driven company scales it's people.
What You’ll Own🔹 Talent Acquisition & Recruiting
Manage full-cycle recruiting operations — from job postings and sourcing to offer negotiation and onboarding.
Partner closely with hiring managers to define hiring needs, create equitable and efficient hiring processes, and ensure an exceptional candidate experience.
Build proactive sourcing strategies and talent pipelines for key roles and maintain data accuracy and reporting in our ATS to inform better hiring decisions.
🔹 Talent Management
Own and optimize our core people systems, including HRIS, payroll, benefits, and performance management tools.
Manage our Employer of Record (EOR) relationship to ensure accurate payroll and benefits administration for international staff.
Identify and close process gaps with scalable, tech-enabled solutions that drive efficiency and employee satisfaction.
🔹 Talent Development & Performance
Partner with the Chief of Staff to design and execute our performance management cycles, including goal setting, reviews, and engagement tracking.
Support leaders in developing frameworks for career growth, recognition, and feedback.
Use data and insights to enhance the employee experience and strengthen our culture of high performance and belonging.
You Might Be a Fit If...
✅ You have 4–7 years of experience in HR or Talent Acquisition, ideally within a high-growth or startup environment including a strong track record of hiring top talent.
✅ You're a goal-getter. Recruiting against tight deadlines is what you thrive on.
✅ You’ve implemented or managed HRIS, ATS, and performance management tools (e.g., Justworks, Ashby, 15Five).
✅ You’re highly organized, a natural problem solver, and an excellent communicator.
✅ You handle confidential information with integrity and discretion.
✅ You thrive in ambiguity — switching seamlessly between strategic and tactical work.
✨ Experience designing and rolling out performance review or goal-setting frameworks.
✨ Familiarity with compensation planning and headcount forecasting.
✨ Interest in people analytics and data-driven HR.
✨ Experience supporting both technical and non-technical teams.
