We're hiring a Head of Talent Acquisition who is equal parts technologist and talent magnet, someone who has fundamentally rewired how they source, assess, and close candidates using AI, and who also knows that the best hires are can also be made over dinner or events.
 
This is not a behind-the-screen role. You'll be the face of CSC Generation's employer brand in your city, hosting regular events, building genuine relationships with top talent, and personally closing critical candidates. You'll also architect and lead a recruiting function powered by AI, automation, and data.
 
Reporting to the Chief Administrative Officer, you'll partner directly with brand CEOs and platform leaders to build the teams powering our portfolio.

What You Get to Do

  • Own full-cycle recruiting across technical, commercial, and operational roles for CSC Generation and its portfolio brands, from sourcing through offer.
  • Design and operate an AI-augmented recruiting function that uses automation and predictive analytics to deliver exceptional speed, quality, and candidate experience.
  • Implement and measure AI-enhanced recruiting workflows — resume analytics, candidate matching, conversational agents, forecasting models — while maintaining human judgment at every critical decision point.
  • Evaluate, select, and operationalize emerging recruiting technologies to keep CSC Generation at the leading edge of talent acquisition. 

Be the Human in the Room

  • Host or attend monthly recruiting events in your hub city (Austin, Salt Lake City, or Toronto), building a warm pipeline of high-quality talent before roles are ever opened.
  • Attend candidate dinners and in-person touchpoints to build authentic relationships and personally close exceptional candidates.
  • Serve as a visible, credible ambassador for CSC Generation's culture, mission, and growth story in local professional communities.
  • Leverage and continuously grow a strong personal network of talent across tech, e-commerce, and retail — bringing real relationships, not just LinkedIn connections.

Lead with Data, Strategy & Tech

  • Champion AI-first thinking across the recruiting department, identifying opportunities to embed intelligence into candidate experience, hiring manager workflows, and onboarding.
  • Build and maintain recruiting data infrastructure. You’ll funnel performance, source quality, offer acceptance rates, communications and reporting to drive continuous improvement.
  • Partner directly with brand CEOs and functional leaders to translate growth plans into talent strategies with clear pipelines, timelines, and success metrics.
  • Mentor and grow a high-performing recruiting team that values both automation and genuine human connection.

What You Bring / Requirements

  • 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead capacity, ideally in a top-tier tech start-up.
  • A personal network you're proud of. You have real relationships with passive talent across the roles you recruit for and know how to activate them.
  • A closer's mentality. You are competitive, persistent, and energized by winning the right candidate. You don't lose candidates to silence.
  • Genuine AI fluency. Demonstrated, hands-on experience building recruiting workflows using AI tools such as AI-assisted sourcing platforms, automated outreach sequencing, screening automation, and analytics dashboards. Not a feature user; a builder.
  • Social confidence and executive presence. You're comfortable hosting events, attending dinners with senior candidates and representing CSC Generation.
  • Strong proficiency with modern ATS platforms and the ability to evaluate, implement, and integrate new recruiting technology with minimal IT dependency.
  • Analytical instincts to build recruiting metrics that drive real decisions: funnel conversion, source ROI, time-to-fill, quality of hire, and retention correlation.
  • Ability to operate independently in fast-moving, ambiguous environments and take recruiting problems from zero to a measurable solution.
  • Location: You must be based in or willing to relocate to Austin, TX, Salt Lake City, UT, or Toronto, ON. Hub presence is an expectation of the role.
