What You Can Expect

  • Develop and implement strategic public relations plans to enhance the Marvell brand
  • Monitor and analyze media coverage and industry trends to identify opportunities and potential risks for the company
  • Create compelling and engaging news content to communicate the company's messages to the media
  • Build and maintain relationships with key media outlets, journalists, and influencers to secure media coverage and partnerships
  • Serve as the lead expert and thought partner on media topics, including prioritizing the right stories, handling information flow, resolving issues, and providing counsel on issues and opportunities
  • Drive all external communication efforts, including press releases, media events, interviews, speaking engagements, awards, blogs, and crisis management
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align messaging and ensure consistency across all communication channels
  • Develop and manage budgets for public relations campaigns and initiatives
  • Continuously evaluate and improve public relations strategies to increase brand awareness and reputation

What We're Looking For

Marvell is seeking a strategic and creative individual with a passion for storytelling, a proven track record in building meaningful relationships with press and executing successful public relations campaigns. As the Head of Public Relations, you will play a pivotal role in advancing our media strategy, enhancing brand reputation, and securing impactful media coverage. You will report to the Vice President of Corporate Marketing and partner with senior leaders across the organization. To thrive in this position, you must possess:

  • Deep understanding of media relations and emerging trends
  • Robust network of media contacts with whom you have strong, trusted relationships
  • Agility to quickly identify and capitalize on relevant stories
  • Ability to translate complex narratives into compelling messages that resonate with journalists and their audiences
  • Strong communication, writing, and analytical skills
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, forward-thinking environment

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, public relations, communications, journalism, or a related field required
  • 10-15 years of B2B technology communications experience, with relevant semiconductor experience a plus
  • Demonstrated leadership experience and ability to foster strong working relationships within complex organizations
  • Self-motivated, strategic thinker who possesses a positive team-player attitude capable of collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders

Expected Base Pay Range (USD)

166,700 - 249,700, $ per annum

The successful candidate’s starting base pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location and market conditions. The expected base pay range for this role may be modified based on market conditions.
