About the Role:
The Head of Product Marketing will build and lead Cantina’s product marketing and customer insights function. This role sits at the intersection of Product, Design, and Marketing, developing a deep, nuanced understanding of our customer, and their end-to-end product experience. They will translate that insight into clear positioning, roadmap influence, and comprehensive go-to-market strategies that drive adoption and growth. This leader ensures that what we build is aligned with real customer needs and that how we bring it to market is differentiated, compelling, and strategically sound.
What You’ll Do:
Build and own the customer and market research function, developing rigorous qualitative and quantitative insights that inform product strategy and roadmap decisions
Partner closely with Product leadership to shape positioning, packaging, and prioritization based on a detailed understanding of customer needs and product experience
Define clear value propositions, messaging frameworks, and competitive positioning across products and features
Design and lead end to end go to market strategies for launches, including audience segmentation, pricing and packaging input, enablement, demand generation alignment, and performance tracking
Equip Sales, Growth, and Comms with the narratives, tools, and insights needed to effectively communicate product value in market
What You’ll Bring:
10+ years of experience in product marketing, strategy, or a related function within high growth technology companies
Proven track record of building customer research and insights programs that directly influence product roadmaps and business outcomes
Deep experience leading complex product and feature launches with measurable impact
Strong analytical and storytelling skills, with the ability to synthesize detailed research into clear positioning and GTM strategy
Executive presence and cross functional leadership skills, with the ability to align Product, Marketing, Sales, and Leadership around shared priorities
Travel up to 10% of the time
Compensation:
The anticipated annual base salary range for this role is between $200,000-$250,000. When determining compensation, a number of factors will be considered, including skills, experience, job scope, location, and competitive compensation market data.
