Position Overview:

The Head of Product Design for Passes will lead the design team responsible for creating intuitive, engaging, and visually stunning user experiences for our Passes products. This role requires a deep understanding of user-centered design principles, a passion for innovation, and the ability to collaborate across departments to bring exceptional products to market.

Key Responsibilities: 

  1. Design Leadership:
    • Lead and mentor a team of product designers, fostering a collaborative and innovative design culture.
    • Develop and articulate a clear design vision and strategy for Passes products.
    • Ensure design consistency and coherence across all Passes products and platforms.
  2. User Experience (UX) and User Interface (UI) Design:
    • Oversee the end-to-end design process, from research and ideation to prototyping and final implementation.
    • Create user personas, journey maps, wireframes, and high-fidelity prototypes to communicate design concepts.
    • Conduct usability testing and incorporate feedback to continuously improve the user experience.
  3. Collaboration and Communication:
    • Work closely with the engineering team, product team, operations teams and other stakeholders to align design objectives with business goals.
    • Present design concepts and solutions to executive leadership and gather feedback to refine the design approach.
    • Advocate for user-centered design practices within the organization.
  4. Innovation and Trends:
    • Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends, tools, and technologies to ensure our Passes products remain cutting-edge.
    • Identify opportunities for innovation and drive the exploration of new design ideas and concepts.
  5. Quality and Consistency:
    • Establish and maintain design guidelines, standards, and best practices to ensure a high level of design quality and consistency.
    • Conduct design reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure design excellence.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in product design, with a proven track record of leading design teams and delivering successful products.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing expertise in UX/UI design, with a focus on mobile and web applications.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and prototyping tools.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a user-centered approach to design.

Preferred:

  • Experience in the Creator Economy.
  • Knowledge of front-end development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
