The Opportunity

Postman is seeking a Head of Product-led Growth to lead our self-serve product strategy and accelerate our product-led growth engine. In this role, you’ll uplevel the end-to-end experience from onboarding through monetization, driving conversion, engagement, and expansion across our rapidly growing global user base. You’ll be directly responsible for helping Postman hit its self-serve revenue targets and for delivering high-quality product-qualified leads (PQLs) into our Sales organization.

This is a highly cross-functional leadership role, requiring tight partnership with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Data teams. You’ll lead a team of growth-focused PMs and partner with engineering and design to ship high-impact experiments, improve activation funnels, and drive revenue through smart product decisions.

What You'll Do
  • Own the PLG strategy for the company, from free user onboarding through activation, conversion, and expansion
  • Drive monetization: pricing and packaging, paywall design, self-serve upsells, and cross-sell mechanics
  • Lead PQL strategy: generate and qualify high-intent product signals and deliver them seamlessly to Sales
  • Improve user onboarding and early lifecycle, ensuring a fast path to “aha” moments for new users and teams
  • Partner with RevOps and Lifecycle Marketing to drive retention, reactivation, and churn reduction
  • Own growth KPIs including: free-to-paid conversion, expansion revenue, user activation rates, churn, and PQL volume/conversion
  • Lead a high-performing product team focused on experimentation, velocity, and measurable business impact
  • Influence Postman’s broader go-to-market strategy, working closely with Sales and Marketing
  • Serve as a strong internal voice for user experience, product design, and customer empathy
  • Collaborate closely with Product Managers to hold them accountable for driving revenue growth for their respective products, aligning product initiatives with revenue goals
  • Provide strategic guidance to Product Managers, ensuring that product decisions are aligned with the company’s revenue targets, customer adoption, and market growth objectives
  • Lead regular performance reviews with product teams to track progress, identify growth opportunities, and address any barriers to achieving revenue and product adoption goals
About You
  • 10+ years of experience in product management and/or as a GM, with 5+ years in product growth or monetization roles. Experience owning a PL&L a plus
  • Proven track record of delivering revenue impact via PLG strategies in SaaS
  • Experience driving self-serve onboarding, conversion, and in-product upsell flows
  • Deep understanding of PLG funnels and working closely with Sales to generate and act on PQLs
  • Highly action-oriented—bias toward execution, shipping, and iteration
  • Comfortable owning metrics and working in fast-paced, metrics-driven environments
  • Strong design intuition and taste; you care about the details of user experience
  • Obsess to understand the customer’s jobs-to-be-done and deliver meaningful value
  • Experience with developer tools, APIs, or technical SaaS products is a plus
  • Clear communicator and strong collaborator, especially in cross-functional setting

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
