The role / impact

Xero is building the shared platform services that will sit underneath some of our most important product and technology bets. As the Head of Product for AI Shared Services, you will lead the strategy and execution of platform areas such as Eventing, Communications, and Search among others, shaping the next generation of products and standards that teams across Xero rely on.

This is a chance to turn fragmented tools and experiments into coherent, reusable capabilities, so Xeros spend less time rebuilding foundations and more time delivering value to Xero’s customers. It is a high impact, high visibility role, with plenty of scope to learn, shape, and grow.

The team / how they connect

This team looks after the platform foundations that power AI capabilities across Xero, working closely with Product, Engineering, Security, Infrastructure, Data and Operations. The team partners closely with product areas across the business.

The team is currently working on / Initially, you will focus on

  • Setting the strategy for the AI Shared Services domain, alongside a roadmap for the quarters ahead

  • Establishing the key metrics and dashboards that will help the business track progress and success

  • Building relationships with stakeholders across the business

  • Growing adoption of shared AI capabilities across multiple product and engineering teams over time
