Luxury Presence is building the AI growth platform for real estate. Backed by Bessemer Venture Partners and other top investors, we're a Series C company on track to hit $100M in annual recurring revenue in the next six months. More than 70,000 real estate professionals, including over 30% of the top-ranked agents in the world, use us to run and grow their business.

Why this role matters

As Luxury Presence scales, we are committed to becoming one of the best places to work — a company where people grow fast, do the best work of their careers, and feel deeply connected to the mission and to each other.

The Head of Employee Programs & Operations will architect and lead the full ecosystem of internal programs, systems, and experiences that power our employee lifecycle. In this M5 leadership role, you will operate as the product leader for the People function, owning the strategy, execution, and continuous improvement of our most critical People programs, including Learning & Development, internal communications, performance management, engagement, and People systems.

You will define how Luxury Presence scales its culture, leadership, and talent experience across a growing, distributed workforce, ensuring our people programs are world-class, data-driven, and built for the future of AI-enabled work. This role is pivotal to helping us attract, engage, develop, and retain top talent — and ultimately, to building a stronger, more connected company.

If you thrive in fast-growing environments, love solving complex operational challenges, and enjoy designing systems that elevate how people work and learn, this is your opportunity to make a company-wide impact.

What we’re looking for

A strategic builder and data-driven operator
You see programs as products with clear users, outcomes rooted in data, and feedback loops — and you build scalable, repeatable systems that grow with the organization.

A systems thinker
You leverage AI, automation, and best-in-class tooling to drive efficiency, reduce friction, and create clarity across the employee lifecycle.

A compelling communicator
You turn strategy into stories people connect with, and you bring consistency, transparency, and alignment to internal communications.

A cross-functional leader
You influence without authority, partner deeply across People, Marketing, Finance, and Product, and bring teams together around shared outcomes.

A strategic + hands-on leader
You move comfortably between vision and execution — setting long-term direction while rolling up your sleeves to ensure flawless delivery.

Skills and experience

  • 8+ years of experience in People Operations, L&D, HR, or Program Management roles, including leadership experience.
  • Demonstrated success architecting and scaling people programs in high-growth, fast-paced environments.
  • Proven track record implementing and optimizing People systems (HRIS, LMS, performance platforms, communications tools).
  • Expertise in internal communications, engagement strategies, and change management.
  • Strong project and program management skills — able to oversee multiple large initiatives simultaneously with precision and accountability.
  • Highly data-driven: you build insights, dashboards, and KPIs that inform decisions and demonstrate impact.
  • Experience partnering with senior executives and influencing at all levels of the organization.

Lead with AI, automation, and data

  • Develop and execute a multi-year vision for a seamless, AI-powered employee experience.
  • Drive adoption and integration of automation across lifecycle programs to increase efficiency and reduce manual work.
  • Build a data-driven operating model for the People team, including dashboards, reporting frameworks, and impact metrics.
  • Use insights to inform strategic priorities and continuously improve programs at scale.

Build and scale world-class learning & development programs

  • Create and own a comprehensive L&D roadmap, including onboarding, leadership development, and continuous learning.
  • Launch high-impact learning programs within the first six months — one foundational and one strategic — with measurable outcomes and participation.
  • Partner with leaders to identify capability gaps and design development pathways that support our business strategy.

Modernize internal communications and employee engagement

  • Build and operationalize an internal communications strategy that improves clarity, transparency, and alignment across all levels.
  • Strengthen our communication channels, including All-Hands, People newsletters, manager comms, and digital platforms.
  • Lead programs that enhance belonging, culture, and cross-company connectivity.

Lead implementation and optimization of People systems

  • Own vendor evaluation, selection, and rollout for HR, performance, onboarding, and learning systems.
  • Ensure systems are integrated, accurate, compliant, and optimized for usability and insights.
  • Reduce operational friction through automation, process redesign, and scalable workflows.

Drive operational excellence across People programs

  • Build frameworks, playbooks, and templates for core People cycles, including onboarding, performance reviews, engagement surveys, and promotions.
  • Establish a consistent operating rhythm that aligns People, leadership, and cross-functional partners.
  • Document everything — creating a structured library of SOPs, AORs, and scalable processes that support hypergrowth.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
