About Move Industries

Move Industries is building the People’s Chain, a Move-based Layer 1 blockchain, and a diverse ecosystem that empowers talented builders to create the future of finance, infrastructure, and real-world value on chain. As a core contributor to the Movement Network, we combine deep protocol engineering with open community governance, returning blockchain to its roots by giving financial power, access and opportunity back to the people.

Our Mission

Our mission is to fuel the next generation of secure, expressive, and high-performance blockchain applications through the Move programming language and scalable distributed systems. You will help unlock massive throughput, low latency, and resilience across consensus, data availability, and privacy - the invisible rails that make an open and decentralized future possible.

About the Role

We are looking for a Head of Marketing to own Move Industries’ brand, narrative, and go-to-market execution across three audiences:

  • Consumers and crypto-native users

  • Institutional partners and enterprises

  • Developers and ecosystem builders

This role is about turning technical progress into durable market trust. You will work closely with design, product, engineering, business development, and communications to ensure every launch and milestone compounds credibility.

What You’ll Do
  • Own the company’s brand positioning, narrative, and go-to-market strategy

  • Translate technical progress into:

    • Clear, accessible stories for consumers

    • Credible, serious messaging for institutions

    • Compelling opportunity framing for developers and builders

  • Partner with our Leadership team on brand evolution and creative direction

  • Drive product marketing for platform capabilities, network releases, and ecosystem launches

  • Lead major launches, announcements, and milestone moments

  • Operate in a high-velocity, multi-threaded environment with real ownership

What We’re Looking For
  • Proven experience marketing to all three audiences: consumers, institutions, and developers

  • Strong narrative, positioning, and technical storytelling instincts

  • Experience leading product marketing for technical or platform products

  • High-judgment, high-ownership operator who thrives in ambiguity

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience building or rebuilding brand credibility in complex or high-scrutiny environments

  • Experience working on developer platforms, infrastructure products, or technical ecosystems

  • Strong creative instincts and experience collaborating deeply with design

  • Experience leading large launches and multi-channel go-to-market efforts

  • Prior experience in high-growth technology or crypto companies

Why Join Us
  • Own the brand and go-to-market for a foundational technology platform

  • Work directly with product, engineering, and design leadership

  • Build a brand grounded in real technology and real usage

  • Competitive compensation with meaningful upside

  • Opportunity to shape a category-defining company

Our Culture
  • We optimize for long-term trust over short-term noise

  • We value clarity, credibility, and craft

  • We move quickly, but deliberately

  • We take full ownership of outcomes, not just outputs

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
