What is Amplemarket all about?

Amplemarket's premise is that a lot of the playbooks used by B2B sales teams that worked 5 years ago don't cut it anymore.

In today's environment, sales teams need to have a tremendous amount of information about their prospects to decide when is the best moment and channel to reach out in the most relevant way. You can't do this with 5 different data/sales enablement point solutions that don't share the same data schema and barely communicate with each other. Amplemarket is the all-in-one compound solution that enables this.

Our AI-powered sales platform helps B2B companies generate more opportunities thanks to our advanced lead generation engine, hyper-personalized sequencing, omnichannel outreach, and AI-powered smart actions. We are backed by Y Combinator, and we are powering the sales teams at some of the fastest-growing companies in the world like Deel, Moveworks, H1 and Vanta.

As Head of Marketing, you will own and drive Amplemarket’s marketing strategy, positioning the company as a leader in the industry. You’ll be responsible for building a scalable demand generation engine, expanding brand awareness, and ensuring marketing efforts contribute directly to revenue growth. You will oversee all marketing initiatives, from paid acquisition and pipeline generation to brand positioning and team expansion, while collaborating closely with Sales, Product, and Executive teams to achieve company-wide goals.

You will:
Drive Digital Marketing & Growth
  • Own and scale our digital marketing strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Launch multi-channel paid campaigns (Google Ads, LinkedIn, Facebook, etc.) to drive pipeline growth.
  • Optimize website performance, SEO, and conversion funnels to improve lead quality.
  • Identify and test new acquisition channels for customer reach.

Lead Demand Generation & Performance Marketing

  • Develop and execute demand generation strategies, including ABM, email campaigns, and lead nurturing.
  • Track key metrics (CAC, LTV, ROAS, conversion rates) to optimize performance.
  • Utilize A/B testing and analytics to refine marketing tactics.

Manage Events & Community Engagement

  • Plan and execute online and offline events (webinars, conferences, meetups) to boost engagement and lead generation.
  • Build and manage a strong community strategy, fostering relationships with customers and industry influencers.
  • Develop customer advocacy programs, leveraging testimonials and case studies.

Own Product Marketing & Sales Enablement

  • Develop marketing collaterals (decks, case studies, landing pages) to support Sales.
  • Conduct competitive analysis and refine product messaging.
  • Align closely with Sales and Product teams on go-to-market strategies.

Scale the Marketing Team

  • Hire, mentor, and lead a high-performing marketing team.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, experimentation, and data-driven decision-making.
About you:
  • 6+ years of experience in Marketing, with at least 3 years in a leadership role, preferably in B2B SaaS.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute data-driven marketing strategies that drive revenue growth.
  • Strong expertise in paid acquisition, demand generation, and performance marketing across multiple channels (Google Ads, LinkedIn, Meta, etc.).
  • Experience leading multi-channel campaigns, including ABM, email marketing, and organic growth strategies.
  • Ability to inspire, mentor, and scale a high-performing marketing team, setting clear expectations and fostering a culture of innovation.
  • Strong analytical skills with a focus on key marketing KPIs to optimize campaign performance.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to align marketing efforts with Sales and Product teams.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, adapting quickly to changing priorities and market trends.
  • Experience with marketing automation tools and CRM platforms.
  • Fluency in English is required.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
