Glass Factory is building the future of manufacturing. Fashion brands come to us with ideas, and we manufacture them into high-quality products through a combination of AI systems and global factory relationships. We’ve developed an audience of 1.5M+ across YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, and our own platform. Our content is central to how we educate brands, build trust with factories, and make the manufacturing world more transparent.

The Position

We’re looking for a Head of Marketing. This person will be responsible for leading the company’s marketing output across social media, email, paid ads, community, launches, resources, and brand collateral. The ideal candidate is a strong strategic operator with excellent taste, strong marketing instincts, and the ability to turn Glass Factory’s manufacturing expertise into high-performing content, campaigns, and growth systems. This person takes extreme ownership of everything they do.
This role is both strategic and hands-on. The ideal candidate must be able to coordinate ideas, briefs, calendars, campaigns, creative production, posting, reporting, and iteration across multiple channels. They will work closely with the founder (@manufacturer) to translate Glass Factory’s vision into a consistent marketing engine across the @glassfactory accounts, email, paid social, community, and website resources.

This person will oversee a community manager, editors, and anyone else responsible for producing creative. They are also responsible for managing external contractors and specialists as needed, including writers, designers, paid ads specialists, SEO/GEO contractors, and other growth support. They will care deeply about every piece of content that Glass Factory produces, and constantly thinking about how we can push the envelope.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the overall marketing strategy for Glass Factory across social media, email, paid ads, community, resources, launches, and brand campaigns
  • Own the @glassfactory content ecosystem across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, YouTube, X, LinkedIn, Substack, Reddit, Newsletter/Email, Discord (and anything else that may come up in the future)
  • Coordinate ideation, briefing, creation, review, posting, and performance analysis for all Glass Factory content
  • Build and manage the content calendar across social, email, YouTube, launches, resources, and campaigns
  • Own paid ads strategy across Meta, TikTok, Google, YouTube, or other relevant platforms, working with specialists when needed
  • Manage contractors and specialists across writing, design, ads, SEO/GEO, community, editing, and creative production when needed

Requirements

Necessary

  • You have built your own following or meaningfully helped/managed someone build a meaningful following. We are looking for someone who has already proven they can grow attention (we don’t have the time for someone learning from scratch).
  • Strong experience leading marketing, content, growth, social media, or brand strategy for a startup, media company, consumer brand, marketplace, SaaS company, or creative business
  • Strong understanding of social media strategy across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X, LinkedIn, and short-form video platforms
  • Experience managing creative production across video, static assets, email, landing pages, campaigns, ads, and social content
  • Experience overseeing editors, community managers, freelancers, agencies, contractors, or cross-functional creative teams
  • Understanding of paid social, retargeting, creative testing, campaign structure, audience segmentation, and performance reporting, email marketing, newsletters, lifecycle flows, segmentation, campaign calendars, and conversion-focused messaging

The compensation package includes an equity component and carries a serious expectation that every team member will continuously improve their judgment, execution, and craft.
