Our Global CIO is leading a significant evolution of our Enterprise Technology capabilities, bringing together over 2,500 technology professionals into an integrated global team. This team will play a crucial role in enabling the ongoing transformation of our agencies and functions.
Working closely with the Director of Technology Operation (TechOps), Americas and the Director of Infrastructure and Operations, plus peers in region and globally, lead a team of Infrastructure and Operations (InfraOps) professionals overseeing regional WPP infrastructure, cloud services, domain architecture, security, compliance, and network operations in Americas. Requires expertise in network architecture, cloud services, storage services, and compliance.
What you'll be doing:
- Leadership and Collaboration:
- Manage the Americas InfraOps team, promote collaboration, accountability, and performance.
- Mentor and coach the team members providing career growth and roadmaps
- Align business priorities with TechOps leadership and deliver
- Project Management Oversight:
- Coordinate all regional InfraOps projects with budget oversight including transformations, MA&D, cloud operations, network and all EoL infra upgrades.
- Stakeholder Management:
- Build relationships with key stakeholders, manage expectations, and meet needs efficiently.
- Implementation:
- Execute TechOps strategies aligned with regional requirements and global direction.
- Infrastructure and Operations Management:
- Ensure efficient operation and availability of WPP Americas InfraOps estate.
- Manage regional operational infra change schedule with alignment to Global Infra Ops with co-ordination of regional user acceptance testing.
- Security and Compliance:
- Collaborate with security teams to ensure remediation and compliance.
- Maintain and update a record of regional infrastructure.
- Strategic Planning:
- Implement strategic plans focusing on security compliance, asset management, and technology efficiency.
- Monitoring and Reporting:
- Provide regular updates on projects, team performance, and initiatives.
- Regional Coordination:
- Ensure consistent Tech Ops infrastructure standards and practices across locations by working with regional and global teams.
- Communication:
- Maintain and drive constant communication with tech leaders, stakeholders, peers and team members to ensure requirements are met and expectations are managed
Who you'll be working with:
The Head of Infrastructure & Operations, Americas will work closely with the Director of Technology Operation (TechOps), Americas and the Director of Infrastructure and Operations, and collaborate cross functionally with peers in region and globally.
