Opportunities to help shape a journey like this do not come around often! We’re looking for a seasoned and strategic Head of Industry, Transport & Logistics Solutions to join our team. In this high-impact role, you’ll combine deep industry expertise with cross-functional leadership to accelerate pipeline growth and drive revenue. As a trusted advisor to our Go-To-Market (GTM) teams, you’ll provide critical insights that support our customers' long-term success with the SafetyCulture platform. You’ll also work closely with Product and Product Marketing to influence and shape solutions that meet the unique needs of our Transport & Logistics customers.

We’re seeking industry leaders who understand the real challenges our customers face.  Your experience will be essential in influencing go-to-market strategies, informing product direction, and driving meaningful outcomes. As the industry lead, your insights will guide both internal teams and client engagements- positioning you as the go-to expert in Retail and QSR.

How You Will Spend Your Time

  • Industry Expertise: Leverage in-depth knowledge of the Transport & Logistics industry to position our software solutions as the ideal fit for prospective clients’ challenges and goals.
  • Solution Development: Collaborate with product management and product marketing to design and refine industry-focused solutions, ensuring alignment with market trends, customer demands, and company strategy.
  • Client Engagement: Participate in pre-sales activities, including presentations, demonstrations, and workshops, to showcase the value of our solutions and build credibility with prospects.
  • Sales Support & Revenue Generation: Partner with the sales team to assist with pipeline development and revenue generation by delivering industry-specific insights, compelling value propositions, and technical expertise during client engagements.
  • Market Intelligence: Stay ahead of industry trends, competitive landscapes, and emerging technologies to inform sales strategies and solution development.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Act as a bridge between sales, product, and marketing teams, fostering alignment and ensuring that industry-specific needs are effectively addressed in our offerings.
  • Pipeline Strategy: Work with sales leadership to identify high-potential opportunities within the sector and develop targeted approaches to maximize conversion rates.

What Do You Need?

  • Experience: We’re flexible on your background—whether you come from operations, consulting, or go-to-market, we value your industry expertise above all. What matters most is your deep understanding of Transport and Logistics and your ability to turn that insight into impact.
  • Industry Knowledge: Deep expertise in Transport & Logistics, with an understanding of its unique challenges, regulatory environment, and technology needs.
  • Technical Acumen: Familiarity with software solutions (e.g., SaaS, ERP, CRM, LMS, EHS, CMMS) and the ability to articulate their value to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Collaboration Skills: Demonstrated ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including sales, product, and marketing, to deliver cohesive strategies.
  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with experience presenting to C-level executives and large audiences.
  • Problem-Solving: Strategic thinker with a solutions-oriented mindset and the ability to tailor offerings to diverse client requirements.
