At Vercel, our mission is to enable the world to ship the best products and that goes hand in hand with creating an environment where you can do the best work of your life.

About the role:

Vercel is seeking a results-oriented, deeply technical Head of GTM Systems to own the strategy, administration, and scaling of our GTM tech stack. Reporting to the Sr. Director, Head of Revenue Operations, you will be responsible for developing and executing a robust systems roadmap that aligns with company strategic priorities, enhances operational efficiency, and drives revenue growth at scale. This is a unique opportunity to be both a strategic leader and a hands-on contributor, building the foundation for a best-in-class GTM systems function.

This is a high-impact, high-autonomy role on a fast-paced team that values execution and growth. If you’re a creative problem-solver and technical leader, this is your chance to make a meaningful impact and shape the future of Revenue Operations at Vercel!

What you will do:

  • Build and drive a scalable GTM systems roadmap that aligns with business goals— integrating seamlessly with existing platforms (Salesforce Sales & Service Cloud core)
  • Design and implement system solutions and workflows that align with business goals, focusing on automation, data integrity, and scalability— leveraging a team of internal and external Admins and Architects
  • Effectively partner with stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, Customer Success/Support and Operations to define business requirements, design system enhancements, and implement impactful solutions
  • Evaluate, implement, and maintain GTM technology solutions, focusing on seller productivity, operational efficiency, and scalability while maintaining robust security controls and permissions
  • Establish and enforce best practices for system design, Salesforce governance, documentation, and data integrity, ensuring accurate and consistent data across platforms
  • Build, mentor, and manage a team of GTM Admins/Architects (including contractors), fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration, and driving professional development
  • Oversee complex projects, continuously assess emerging technologies, and implement solutions to enhance GTM workflows, analytics, reporting, and tool adoption

About you:

  • 8+ years of experience building and owning GTM operations and systems. Experience in technical SaaS offering is strongly preferred, and experience with product-led growth motions is a plus.
  • Expert proficiency in Salesforce architecture and hands-on GTM engineering skills, with experience managing complex systems and implementations
  • Deep knowledge of tooling, activities, and administrative best practices across the full revenue lifecycle—including Salesforce, CPQ solutions, and adjacent tools like Outreach, ZoomInfo, Tray, and Gong.
  • Highly collaborative, with the ability to build strong partnerships with and influence GTM, Finance, and Product teams
  • Excellent ability to hire, develop talent, and lead high-performing teams
  • Highly collaborative, with a proven ability to influence stakeholders, attention to detail, and an exceptional sense of ownership
  • Comfortable with ambiguity—able to spot opportunities, prioritize effectively, and deliver scalable solutions while balancing short-term needs with long-term scalability

Benefits:

  • Competitive compensation package, including equity.
  • Inclusive Healthcare Package.
  • Learn and Grow - we provide mentorship and send you to events that help you build your network and skills.
  • Flexible Time Off.
  • We will provide you the gear you need to do your role, and a WFH budget for you to outfit your space as needed.

The San Francisco, CA base pay range for this role is $210,000 - $270,000.  This salary range is an estimate. Actual salary will be based on job related skills, experience and location. Pay ranges outside San Francisco may be  adjusted based on employee location.  The total compensation package also includes benefits and equity-based compensation. What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
