Description

A bit about us:

Since launching the industry’s first AI coding assistant in 2018, Tabnine has pioneered generative AI to elevate the coding experience for over a million developers worldwide across thousands of companies. Our mission is to help development teams of every size speed up and simplify the software development process with AI, while maintaining standards of privacy and security. Tabnine boosts engineering velocity, code quality, and developer happiness by automating the coding workflow through AI tools customized to their teams. Unlike generic coding assistants, Tabnine is the AI that you control. We’re looking for top-tier talent to join the Tabnine team and we’d love to hear from you!

About the Role:

We’re looking for a hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves Head of Growth Marketing to build and run our marketing growth engine. This isn’t a “manage from afar” role - you’ll be both strategist and executor, creating campaigns, posting on social media, setting up tools, managing HubSpot flows, and tracking ROI yourself. Over time, you’ll have the opportunity to grow the team, but the immediate need is someone who can make things happen directly while shaping the foundation for scale.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do:

  • Integrated Campaigns: Partner with the Head of BDRs/Outbound and Product Marketing to design and run fully integrated campaigns every quarter - from campaign strategy down to execution, spanning inbound and outbound and all channels. Measure campaign success, iterate and improve.
  • Paid & SEO: Own our paid channels and SEO, working with agencies but also rolling up your sleeves to manage execution and optimizations. Deeply understand our persona and ICP, work with Creative to drive results.
  • Content Amplification & Social: Implement amplification tools (e.g., GaggleAMP) and personally drive noise across our social channels to amplify reach and engagement.
  • Events & Sponsorships: Manage the logistics of events, sponsorships, and field programs end-to-end - booking venues, negotiating with vendors, and ensuring pipeline impact.
  • Customer Advocacy: Directly drive reviews, directory listings, and advocacy programs - hands-on outreach to customers and execution of advocacy motions.
  • Webinars: Plan and execute webinars with in-house talent and guest speakers to further our awareness in the market and drive pipeline. Drive weekly “office hours” product demonstrations and current topics.
  • Performance Marketing: Track campaign ROI, efficiencies, and pipeline contribution - build dashboards and analyze results.
  • Sales Alignment: Plan and execute sales kickoffs and enablement events with a bias toward executional detail.
  • Marketing Operations: Formalize and manage lead flow processes in HubSpot, including campaign tracking, attribution, and reporting.
  • Website & Conversion Optimization: Actively implement tactics like chatbots, instant “Book a Demo,” and conversion-optimized pages to reduce friction in the buyer journey.

Requirements

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven B2B SaaS marketer with 4+ years of experience, comfortable being a one-person growth marketing team in the short term (but with support from the CMO, Product Marketing, Agencies and awesome colleagues across the organization).
  • Strong track record of running integrated campaigns that drive measurable pipeline.
  • Practical knowledge of HubSpot and confidence setting up campaign flows and attribution models. You feel comfortable creating registration pages, setting up webinars, tracking leads and more. You can work with agencies to implement lead flows and improve marketing operations.
  • Experience driving customer advocacy programs (reviews, case studies, directory sites).
  • Data-driven and ROI-focused, with the ability to measure and optimize performance across channels.
  • Collaborative operator who can partner closely with Sales and BDRs.
  • Preferably someone who has previous experience working with tech startups, and understands that no two days are ever the same!

Why Join Us:

This is a rare opportunity to own growth marketing end-to-end from day one. You’ll be in the trenches executing campaigns while also setting the direction for how marketing scales. If you’re excited by the idea of being both strategist and operator - making an immediate impact while laying the foundation for future growth - we’d love to talk.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
