Be the CEO’s right-hand strategic weapon. No reports, no red tape, just high-impact projects, top-priority bets, and a chance to move the needle on everything from zero-to-one ideas to multi-million-dollar M&A. If you’re an operator who gets things done through influence—not authority—and thrives on ambiguity, this is your playground.
What Is Mode Mobile? (Mode Mobile)
We pay people to use their phones. Seriously.
Mode Mobile is rewriting the rules of the mobile economy—empowering users to earn real rewards (and even equity) for doing what they already do on their phones: stream, game, shop, swipe, scroll. We’ve helped over 50 million people earn and save more than $ 325 million across 170 countries. And we’re just getting started.
Our vision? Build a portfolio of attention-powered apps that deliver life-changing value at a global scale. IPO is on the horizon—and we need your help to get there.
The Role: Growth Architect to the CEO
This isn’t your typical “strategy” role. We’re looking for someone who blends big-picture thinking with get-it-done execution. Someone who sees around corners and isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves. Someone who knows how to build trust, pull in resources, and rally the troops—even when those troops are slammed with their own priorities.
You’ll be embedded at the epicenter of the company’s growth engine, turning moonshots into real outcomes. Whether it's spinning up a new product idea, crafting a business case, evaluating a potential acquisition, or taming the whirlwind of cross-team priorities, you’ll be making moves that matter.
What You’ll Actually Do
- Be the CEO’s thought partner and execution arm on the company’s biggest opportunities.
- Drive growth experiments, new ventures, monetization strategies, and market validations.
- Run cross-functional projects with no formal authority—but with full energy and trust-building genius.
- Connect dots across teams and functions to get projects unblocked and out the door.
- Prepare strategic docs, investor decks, and business models that actually get read.
- Navigate ambiguity like a pro. One day you're strategizing M&A, the next you're coordinating a scrappy test with the product team.
You Might Be a Fit If
- You’ve spent 5+ years doing real work in startups, strategy, product, VC, growth, or consulting, and have stories to prove it.
- You don’t need a title or direct reports to drive results; you know how to lead through trust and clarity.
- You move fast, break things (carefully), and learn even faster.
- You’re comfortable going from whiteboard to spreadsheet to slide deck, and all before lunch.
- You have experience in consumer apps, mobile, adtech, fintech, or attention-based platforms.
- You’re allergic to drama and full of energy. You're the person people want on their project.
Why You’ll Love It Here
- Sit next to the rocket fuel: You’ll work directly with the CEO on the company’s biggest bets.
- No boredom: Constant new adventures in growth, innovation, and problem-solving.
- Make your mark: This is a legacy role. Your fingerprints will be all over our path to $150M+ revenue and IPO.
- Remote, global team: Work with brilliant humans around the world, and no commute required.
Not For You If
- You need a rigid structure or a traditional org chart
- You prefer observing over doing
- You get nervous when plans change (they will)
How You Show Up: Our Values in Action
- Accountable: You own outcomes. You communicate clearly, follow through, and do what you say you will—every time. When things go sideways (and sometimes they will), you’re the first to flag it and the first to fix it.
- Action-driven: You don’t wait for permission or perfect conditions. You identify the highest leverage moves, align quickly, and drive execution with urgency and focus.
- Caring: You give a damn about the mission, your teammates, and the users we serve. You lead with heart and elevate the people around you.
- Curious: You ask why. You dig deeper. You constantly seek better ways to do things and aren't afraid to challenge the status quo.
- Thorough: You go beyond the surface. Your work is tight, thoughtful, and complete—whether it’s a strategic model, a scrappy MVP, or a mission-critical deck.
