As the Head of Global Brand Media Strategy for MediaOne (GM's internal media organization), you will play a pivotal role in shaping and influencing media strategy across international markets. You will serve as a strategic advisor and collaborator to media leads in each country, guiding them in the development and execution of innovative, locally relevant media strategies. You will work closely with global and regional stakeholders to ensure alignment with overarching brand goals, while fostering a culture of innovation and knowledge sharing across markets.
You will be instrumental in driving forward-thinking media practices, identifying global trends, and enabling country teams to adapt and thrive in their unique media landscapes.

Responsibilities
- Serve as a strategic advisor to country-level media leads, providing guidance and best practices to support local media planning and execution.
- Working closely with the Head of US Brand Media Strategy, facilitate cross-market collaboration and knowledge sharing to elevate media capabilities globally.
- Partner with regional and local teams to co-develop media strategies that align with global media approaches while respecting local market nuances.
- Lead the development of global media frameworks, toolkits, and playbooks to support consistent and effective media planning across countries.
- Work closely with global and local-market media agencies to drive how global approaches are translated on a market-by-market basis.
- Work with global teams to ensure the appropriate local resources are in place with agencies and key media vendors.
- Collaborate with other groups inside and outside of MediaOne to define and track global media KPIs.
- Drive innovation by identifying emerging media trends and technologies and sharing actionable insights with country teams.
- Facilitate local market access to global-first opportunities and strategic benefits with key global media vendors.
- Support the development and implementation of global learning agendas and training programs to build media expertise across regions.
- Represent global media strategy in cross-functional meetings and ensure alignment with broader marketing and business goals.
- Facilitate global and cross-market forums and workshops in collaboration with Global Media Services team

Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in media strategy, planning, or operations, with a strong international or global focus.
- Bachelor's degree required; in business, marketing, or a related field preferred
- Proven ability to influence and collaborate across diverse, cross-cultural teams without direct authority.
- Deep understanding of global media landscapes, including digital and offline channels.
- Experience working with or for media agencies in a global context.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strategic thinker with a proactive, self-starter mindset.
- Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel.

Compensation:
- The expected base compensation for this role is: ($175,500-$268,800). Actual base compensation within the identified range will vary based on factors relevant to the position.
