About the Role:
The Head of Events will lead the strategy, creative direction, and execution of Cantina’s global events portfolio, spanning intimate local meetups, large scale brand experiences, major consumer tech conferences, and global AI industry events. This leader will own everything from concept development to flawless on site delivery, ensuring every activation elevates the brand and drives measurable business impact. They must be equally comfortable shaping big ideas in the boardroom and running point on complex production logistics in the field, managing significant budgets, executive stakeholders, and high visibility moments with calm precision.
What You’ll Do:
Develop and own the global events strategy across field marketing, industry conferences, hosted experiences, executive roundtables, and large scale brand activations
Lead end to end execution of events, from creative ideation and venue selection to vendor management, production, staffing, travel logistics, and post event reporting
Manage and optimize a significant global events budget, ensuring strong ROI and alignment with company priorities
Partner closely with Marketing, Sales, Product, Comms, and Executive leadership to align messaging, define objectives, and ensure a cohesive brand presence
Serve as executive facing lead onsite, supporting speakers, preparing briefing materials, managing run of show, and ensuring high stakes moments are delivered seamlessly
What You’ll Bring:
10+ years of experience leading events and experiential marketing programs, including both large scale industry events and smaller curated experiences
Proven ability to manage complex, multi million dollar budgets and global vendor ecosystems
Strong executive presence with experience interfacing directly with C suite leaders and external partners
Deep expertise in event production, brand experience design, logistics, and risk management
Exceptional organizational skills, calm under pressure, willing to travel extensively, and able to move fluidly from strategic planning to hands on execution
Travel required up to 40% of the time
Compensation:
The anticipated annual base salary range for this role is between $175,000-$235,000. When determining compensation, a number of factors will be considered, including skills, experience, job scope, location, and competitive compensation market data.
