About us:

SentiLink provides innovative identity and risk solutions, empowering institutions and individuals to transact confidently with one another.

By building the future of identity verification in the United States and reinventing the currently clunky, ineffective, and expensive process, we believe strongly that the future will be 10x better.

We’ve had tremendous traction and are growing extremely quickly. Already our real-time APIs have helped verify hundreds of millions of identities, beginning with financial services. In 2021, we raised a $70M Series B round, led by Craft Ventures to rapidly scale our best in class products. We’ve earned coverage and awards from TechCrunch, CNBC, Bloomberg, Forbes, Business Insider, PYMNTS, American Banker, LendIt, and have been named to the Forbes Fintech 50 list consecutively since 2023. Last but not least, we’ve even been a part of history -- we were the first company to go live with the eCBSV and testified before the United States House of Representatives.

About the role

SentiLink’s events program is our primary pipeline engine. We run 60+ events annually and are ready to scale with more structure and predictability. We’re hiring a senior events leader to build a repeatable events operating system—without disrupting the strong ownership of our two strong Event Managers.

You will report to the Head of Marketing and directly manage the two strong Event Managers. This is a player-coach role to start—rolling up your sleeves to stabilize and standardize execution—then transitioning to >70% coach as systems and staffing mature.

Responsibilities
  • Calendar strategy & budgets: Own and govern the annual events calendar, capacity planning, and manage the program budget and forecast.

  • Operating model: Build playbooks, briefs, timelines, SLAs, and RACI. Standardize pre/during/post-event workflows the senior owners run day-to-day.

  • Sales & Growth alignment: Coordinate with the sales and growth teams on target lists, outreach cadences, staffing, on-site plans; enforce post-event follow-up SLAs and conversion tracking.

  • Resource & vendor strategy: Assess resource gaps; scope, source, and manage contractors and agencies (fabrication, logistics, creative). Negotiate scopes, budgets, and quality standards.

  • Program management (player-coach): Orchestrate a 60+ event portfolio; coach and unblock the two senior owners; protect clear lanes of ownership while raising the bar.

  • Cross-functional production: Partner with Brand & Design on assets (booth, signage, swag, digital/print/email); with Product Marketing on messaging; with Operations on data flows.

  • Measurement & ROI: Build dashboards and run post-mortems on registrations, attendance, meetings set, sourced/influenced pipeline, velocity, and ROI; drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications
  • 7+ years leading B2B event programs (50–100+ events/year) with demonstrable pipeline impact.

  • Builder mindset with process design chops—can turn ad-hoc execution into repeatable systems without losing agility.

  • Proven partnership with Sales teams to drive pre-event targeting and post-event follow-up that converts to opportunities.

  • Player-coach leadership style; experienced enabling senior ICs through influence, coaching, and clear operating rhythms.

  • Vendor/contractor management: scoping, sourcing, negotiating, and quality control across creative, fabrication, and logistics.

  • Fluency with CRM, marketing automation, and project tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, and Asana).

  • Excellent program management and cross-departmental coordination. Strong executive presence and willing to travel for priority events.

What success looks like in 6–12 months
  • Engine in place: Playbooks, SLAs, and calendar governance adopted; predictable execution across the portfolio.

  • Empowered team: Two event managers retain clear ownership; throughput increases and bottlenecks decrease.

  • Scaled capacity: Contractor/agency bench established; time-to-launch and on-site quality improve within budget.

  • Revenue impact: Higher meeting rates and opportunity conversion from events; consistent post-event follow-up within SLA; executive visibility via dashboards and readouts.

Salary Range

  • $190,000 to $220,000 base + equity

Perks:
  • Employer paid group health insurance for you and your dependents

  • 401(k) plan with employer match (or equivalent for non US-based roles)

  • Flexible paid time off

  • Regular company-wide in-person events

  • Home office stipend, and more!

Corporate Values:
  • Follow Through

  • Deep Understanding

  • Whatever It Takes

  • Do Something Smart

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
