About Carda

Carda Health is building the world’s first patient-centered virtual heart and lung platform, starting with cardiac and pulmonary rehab. With only 10% of eligible patients accessing rehab, we’re revolutionizing care through accessible, effective, and engaging home-based programs. We partner with leading hospitals and insurers to expand access to life-saving treatments.

Who are we?

We are a team of clinicians, data scientists, mathematicians and repeat entrepreneurs. And a few recovering financiers. Our belief is that technology and data, when applied to the right problem, transforms people’s lives and changes even the most entrenched industries. Carda was founded by Harry and Andrew, two friends from Wharton who share a family history of heart disease and experience with poor access to care. We now work with some of America’s largest and top-ranked hospitals and most innovative insurers. We are fortunate to be backed by some of the best investors in the business who have also backed the likes of Livongo, Hinge, Calm, MDLive, and others.

Who are you?

A driven, stop at nothing sales leader who has a track record of delivering top tier results. You are a clear communicator and effective motivator who has worked at a top tier early to growth stage startup. You’ve built a top performing sales organization before or at the very least seen what that looks like. You are hell bent on doing that in your next role. You understand the need to move quickly, can evaluate talent better than 99% of your peers, and work effectively across an organization to drive growth.

The Opportunity

Carda Health is hiring a Head of Enterprise Sales to lead and scale our national sales efforts across two key customer segments: providers and health plans.

This role is for a sales leader who thrives in greenfield environments, excels at building teams and playbooks, and wants meaningful ownership and lasting impact. You will lead a growing sales organization, drive patient and partnership growth, and play a central role in expanding Carda’s footprint nationwide.

You will build and manage a team of Partnership Leads, Account Executives, and Account Managers.

In this role, you will

  • Own revenue targets and provide clear visibility into pipeline and performance
  • Lead and scale Carda’s provider sales organization, selling into cardiologists, pulmonologists, health system service lines and, secondarily, managed care organizations
  • Build, coach, and motivate a high-performing sales team focused on consistent physician engagement and disciplined execution
  • Drive pipeline generation, deal execution, and forecasting across the country
  • Establish scalable sales processes, enablement, and messaging that drive results for the company and for our partners
  • Build on Carda’s existing managed care partnerships, working on longer-cycle, enterprise-level deals
  • Collaborate closely with leadership, product, and clinical teams to meet the needs of Carda’s customers

What We’re Looking For

Required
  • 7-12+ years of proven success building and leading B2B sales teams in fast-moving environments
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and scaling revenue
  • Determination and creativity. Practically, this means experience with lead generation/prospecting and/or Sales Development, but also in designing creative ways to get the attention of provider organizations
  • Proven track record of building and improving sales process, forecasting, and pipeline management
  • Excellent communication skills — verbal, listening and written. We have a strong bias towards complete, thoughtful, written arguments at Carda Health. You must be succinct, clear and convincing in your communication.
  • Highly organized with the ability to create, adhere to, and scale repeatable processes
  • Comfort operating in ambiguity and taking ownership in a high-growth startup
  • Proven ability to move fast. You should be able to complete tasks in ⅓ the time of your peers
  • Strong experience at a top tier early to growth stage company. You must know what truly excellent looks and feels like

Nice to Have

  • Experience selling healthcare solutions into physician groups, health systems and managed care organizations
  • Experience selling to cardiologists, pulmonologists, or closely related physician specialties
  • Experience managing multi-layer sales organizations
  • Proven ability to translate clinical value into operational and financial impact

Why Carda

  • Opportunity to build and lead a national sales organization with real ownership
  • Meaningful mission with direct patient impact - if successful you will transform the lives of hundreds of thousands to millions of Americans
  • High-caliber team across clinical, product, and engineering
  • Competitive compensation and meaningful equity
  • Flexibility to work remotely with travel for key meetings
Location

Remote within the U.S., preferably near a major metropolitan area. Requires the ability to travel to customer meetings, leadership offsites, and conferences.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
