We’re growing fast and hiring a Head/Director, Growth & Lifecycle Marketing to drive activity and engagement across our buyer-supplier marketplace. In this role, you’ll ensure buyers are actively using the platform to find suppliers and publish sourcing events, while keeping suppliers engaged and aligned with demand. The result: real value for suppliers, better outcomes for buyers, and a marketplace that grows sustainably over the long term. This is a highly strategic and cross-functional role. You’ll work across product, growth, supplier experience, and customer success - connecting the dots to unlock marketplace potential. You’ll engage with senior leaders, shape segment-specific strategies, and lead programs from concept to execution.

Your role in our beehive:

  • Full-funnel Growth: Design and lead integrated campaigns across acquisition, activation, engagement, and retention
  • Lifecycle Marketing Strategy: Build journeys that move suppliers from first touch to monetization using email, paid, and in-product channels
  • Performance and Organic Growth: Own paid media (SEM, social, retargeting), SEO, and earned content to drive efficient acquisition and meet CAC targets
  • Segmentation and automation: Deploy segmented nurture streams and trigger-based workflows that personalize messaging and boost conversion
  • Experimentation and Optimization: Run A/B tests across landing pages, ads, and email campaigns to drive incremental lift
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with product, analytics, and supplier success to align goals and drive lifecycle outcomes
  • Team Leadership and Scaling: Manage and mentor a team, scaling out the function to match our growth ambitions

What you bring to our beehive:

  • 8+ years of experience in growth or lifecycle marketing in B2B SaaS or marketplaces
  • A proven track record of driving acquisition, conversion, and monetization with measurable results
  • Deep understanding of performance marketing, lifecycle automation, and marketing analytics
  • Strategic thinker with hands-on execution skills and comfort leading cross-functional initiatives
  • Experience managing and mentoring teams in fast paced, high-growth environments
  • Bonus: Experience in a Post-Merger Integration environment

What success looks like:

  • Growth in qualified supplier signups and paying users driven by acquisition and nurture campaigns
  • Decrease in Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC) while maintaining or improving conversion rates
  • Increase in activation rate and supplier engagement across key lifecycle stages
  • Reduction in churn and reactivation of dormant suppliers through targeted campaigns
  • Clear performance benchmarks and reporting across all funnel stages

What's in it for you?

  • Opportunity to help shape the world’s biggest procurement network
  • Work cross-functionally with top talent across GTM, product, and platform teams
  • Competitive compensation and wellness budgets
  • Remote-flexible, mission-driven culture committed to better global procurement

We'd love to hear from you!

At Scoutbee, we value personality, curiosity, and cultural fit more than perfect qualifications. If you’re unsure whether you tick every box, that’s okay. Imposter syndrome and self-doubt are real, but they shouldn’t hold you back. We believe not knowing everything can be a strength. It creates space for growth, learning, and fresh perspectives. We're here to support and learn from each other as we grow together.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
