Lead developer relations as the company’s first DevRel hire. Create technical content, demos, examples, and projects; speak at conferences, meetups, and podcasts; build relationships with engineering teams and technical communities; gather product feedback; establish the company as a leading voice in AI-driven engineering; and grow its social following.
The summary above was generated by AI

AI can generate code faster than humans ever could. Validation has become the bottleneck. We are building the dev cloud for AI-driven engineering to eliminate slowdowns and maintain velocity throughout the entire dev loop.

Now we need someone to help tell that story at scale.

We're a small team building infrastructure that every engineering organization needs. We started this company to make the lives of every engineer better, and we genuinely believe our platform does that. We’re looking for our first DevRel hire to help us share what we’ve built with more engineering teams and to bring us closer to the engineering community that we’re building this company for.

Background

We don't think there's one perfect background for this role.

You might be:

  • An engineer with a large social following who people genuinely learn from and admire

  • A conference speaker and community organizer who has become a trusted voice

  • A wickedly skilled technical content creator who makes complex topics simple and compelling

If you've built credibility with engineers, we would love to talk.

Responsibilities
  • Create technical content people actually want to engage with

  • Build demos, examples, and projects that show what's possible with RWX

  • Identify and speak at conferences, meetups, podcasts, and anywhere else great engineers gather

  • Build relationships with engineering teams, open source maintainers, creators, and technical leaders

  • Turn conversations with developers into product feedback that shapes what we build

  • Help establish RWX as one of the voices defining AI-driven engineering

  • Increase our social following

Qualifications
  • You can build elegant content to help answer hard questions simply

  • You have a body of public work you're proud of, and others celebrate

  • You're an exceptional storyteller

  • You enjoy evangelizing great technology to technical audiences

  • You are organized and meticulous

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
