What you will do

Head of Demand Planning, Operations is responsible for providing leadership and guidance on demand and supply planning processes, developing solutions to various problems, and building effective relationships with key suppliers and internal/external client groups:

Key responsibiIities

  • Develop and lead demand planning strategies for the Japanese market, aligned with business objectives and regional supply chain goals.
  • Own and enhance the IBP process, ensuring forecast accuracy, cross-functional alignment and ways of working
  • Analyze market trends, customer demand, and sales data to generate accurate forecasts and optimize inventory levels for both core and customized products.
  • Collaborate with commercial, marketing, and finance teams to integrate product launches, promotions, and business insights into the demand plan.
  • Drive continuous improvement and digitization of demand planning processes, systems, and tools to enhance efficiency and responsiveness.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate planning policies and implement scalable, standardized processes that support business agility.
  • Provide strategic leadership to the demand planning team, fostering a high­ performance culture focused on KPI delivery, ownership, and professional development.
  • Partner with regional and global teams to adopt best practices and planningcapabilities that support cost-effective stock availability and supply chain resilience.
  • Champion cross-functional collaboration to co-design and implement planning solutions that meet the evolving needs of the Japan market.
What we are looking for

Required Skill & Experience

  • 8+ years of experience in demand planning or supply chain management
  • Deep familiarity with SAP planning tools.
  • People management experience in 5 years
  • Experience in S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning)
  • Proven track record of successfully leading demand planning initiatives in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross­ functional teams
